The people who work there are fantastic. We got sick and had to rest there for several days. They gave us an extra big room at a low rate. And they were always checking on us. They made us feel at home. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire 2 month vacation.

A lovely old hotel in a very old town. The view from the bedrooms are stunning. Parking for six motorbikes was not a problem. The restaurant across the road on the bridge was fabulous and the veranda/terrace over the river a perfect setting for dinner. For anyone fancying a swim, there are a couple of spots on the river within five minutes walk from the hotel.

The price was very high based on advertised prices over the recent few days but the staff would not adjust -- and actually charged me twice! The heater didn't work, the drapery was missing on one window, the balcony is not safe, and the shower doors leaked. During dinner, the server was not responsive to my requests.
