It took a bit longer than expected to find the place, but worth it in the end.

Not much at all, the shower at the pool is sometimes tricky to turn on, the knob came off in my hand, and the ladder to go into the pool was very loose.

We loved our air conditioned room, the balcony, the pool and the surrounding area, everything was set up to relax, exactly as we had hoped.

The door into the room and all doors within the room need to be oiled, squeaking very loud in the middle of the night! We could also hear the squeaking doors in the room beside us. That is our only "down" comment.

We have been travelling to Moureze for many years now as a friend owns a home in the village. We normally stay with them but decided to treat ourselves this year and stay in the Auberge. We had a gorgeous spacious room with a lovely balcony and it was really special to see the surrounding mountains from a different perspective. We used the pool a lot in the 6 days we stayed there and Jean Pierre was good enough to let our two friends join us by the pool each time we used it. The staff in Auberge are simply wonderful. From the daily smiling beaming faces of the cleaning ladies, to the helpfulness of the dining/bar staff. I also availed of a massage in the spa, which was divine! We ate in the restaurant with our friends as well and it was super. We will definitely be back!

We loved it. We had done a lot of travel so to rest here was perfect. The host John-Pierre was so welcoming and helpful. Just a lovely person. He also had a cool dog! The pool is exceptional. Having a restaurant onsite is really good and all the staff are very friendly.

My only reserve is that the rooms are very outdated and for a spa hotel I did expect a newer and more designed room and bathroom.

We stayed only one night on our way to Dordogne. The area is beautiful and the hotel looks like a little village. Very warm welcome by the owner. As it was the last week before the hotel closed for the winter we were upgraded to a second floor with a small terrace. The rooms are large and comfortable. We ate diner at the hotel restaurant which was excellent. All in all a very good experience

Fantastic location, excellent services, wonderful atmosphere. The rooms are excellent. Breakfast and the dining room are pleasant with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Ample opportunities to travel around the hotel. Whether it is the geological, architectural, historical, or just visiting a lake or vineyard, this hotel provides ample opportunities to enjoy South France. Highly recommended. The manager is so pleasant and made our stay extra special.

The inhospitable greeting. Too rigid in “rules” and poor availability of services. Security - couldn’t open or close securely the room door which was infuriating (aluminium doors which are clearly defective).
