Obviously the downside of such a marvelously remote location, is inconvenience. In this instance, you have to plan your lunches, either bringing food with you or driving down to the Fango or Galeria, where fortunately there are some really good restaurants.

It’s a beautiful property, overlooking the Mediterranean from on high. It’s in the middle of nowhere, so beyond the occasional car or cyclist, it’s marvelously quiet. The pool is really well done, the rooms are comfortable, and the entire staff is first - rate.

The auberge is in a beautiful location between Galéria and Calvi which is a very scenic road. We loved our room with a view over the sea. The pool was large with lovely water and perfect temperature. We even swam in the morning before breakfast. Our evening meal and breakfast were really good too and all the staff so friendly. We would definitely recommend this place.

the wifi was poor and kept dropping, but that's the only thing. The pool was being refitted when we were there it was the start of the season.

The room was exceptionally well appointed as was the bar and restaurant, recently refurbished.. Recommend that you book half board as there is no where else around, but the menu was great, plenty of choice and the food was excellent. Staff and management very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast equally plentiful with lots of choice.

Along with the exceptional hillside location - with its wonderful sea views and beautiful sunsets, the staff of Auberge Ferayola were super friendly and helpful in every way. The patron, Fabrice was always on hand to meet our requests (he even came to our rescue after a burst tyre accident on the treacherous D81b) and his wife, Virginie was an excellent chef whose meals my wife and I looked forward to each night - also, she was happy to modify menus to suit my vegetarian diet. The puzzle is why so few British guests seem to visit this coastal gem.

In the middle of Calanques, there is this under construction "resort," o new with very high potential and exceptional hosts. I'm sure it will become a paradise when the "Mediterranean" garden will be completed. Stunning sunset view from terazza

A very quiet upstairs room with superb views across open woodland to the sea beyond. The restaurant was very good with a good choice of dishes (including gluten-free) and a good and reasonably priced wine list.

The room was nice, although it needed some repair on several parts of the room and the terrace was not very clean. We booked with semi-pension and eat mostly vegetarian. The menu didn't offer many options to choose from and especially as a vegetarian other than salads two dishes were left to choose at no extra charge The semi-pension was relatively expensive as for example the only fish option was charged extra.

The Hotel is very nicely located in the hills near Galeria. Beautiful view of the sunset every evening from the restaurant.

The road to reach the hotel are not the best, so be prepared to go slow with the car
