Steep stairs up to room; ok for us but might be difficult if infirm . No water, fridge or tea and coffee facility in the room. Windows open into the room which was somewhat hazardous ,but they had to be open as it was so hot 37C and no air con. Breakfast was unexceptional diy buffet. No muesli or healthy cereals or fresh fruit. The kettle was handy for making tea but no earl grey available and shortage of tea bags. No cooked options offered. Lack of cheese. Service at dinner was quite slow and ordered wine was only brought to the table after asking. Food was delicious though! No wifi in the room or on the terrace, only in the main building.

Pretty, remote location by a river with terrace for dining. Beautiful traditional old stone building., tastefully modernised. Good traditional French restaurant but at 48 € or 60 € fixed price, rather expensive. Very well decorated bedroom with nice shower and basin.

This was our second visit to the Auberge. Beautiful place in the countryside, about 20 Mins from main roads. Very polite and friendly staff. We had delicious 4 course nouvelle cuisine supper with local wines by the river. Comfortable quiet rooms, and good breakfast. Off street parking for our car and motorbikes.

Quiet, comfortable hotel in a lovely location. Very helpful hospitable owners and staff. I needed to change my dates and the hotel was very accommodating and prompt in their response. Dinner was excellent. Our waitress at dinner was also superb. My room was very quiet and comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean. Thanks for a great stay. This is a gorgeous hotel in the most peaceful location. The staff and owner/manager are lovely, and the food is perfect. The rooms were comfortable and clean (good size, perfect bathroom), and we were welcomed with open arms on arrival. The evening menu encouraged us to try meals we wouldn't normally consider, and it was a win for us all. Breakfast had a wide choice to meet people's hunger levels. It is so relaxing here, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet and to appreciate nature perfectly. If you are looking for a night at the bar and a little entertainment, this is NOT the hotel for you. If you enjoy a quiet drink beside the river while watching the Kingfishers, this is you - save me a seat, we will be back.

This was a great place for us as we were on a cycle tour - the rooms were spacious and functional (perfect for us), the location by the river was lovely, there was a garage for the bikes, and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent (and breakfast was generous too).
