The toilet is really in the room, just a curtain separates it, so not very private.

The mal ont is a courtyard, but charming. Lovely to have a space outside. The hostess was very friendly and the location is great.

Had an issue checking-in. No staff present so needed to call numbers given. Got no response for 40 mins: then emails with codes to enter house and later an email with instructions to enter room. Premises is more like an abnb than a small hotel.

Room was comfortable and air-con worked well on a very hot day. Location was fine. Shower was good.

It was all pretty good.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, they let us leave our bags before check in and provided a nice cool glass of water after we had walked with luggage from the train station. We were then surprised to receive a rose and a bottle of sparkling wine as gift. The place itself was very clean and in a safe area, it was only a short walk from the citadel and the main square with restaurants and shops.

I had clients/friends staying and the family was sharing their home which i didnt get to communicate to them, but that was perhaps my fault since it was last minute. They were wonderful, hard working people and we got yo know their family too!

Christoph and Charlotte bent over backward to host us on a last minute booking, even though Booking.com overbooked the rooms and there was a problem with the platform.

-Check-in was delayed until 6pm, which I thought was quite late and no compensation (later check-out, free breakfast,etc.) was offered for the delay. -Bed had a few crumbs/hair, so overall cleanliness could be improved. -Shower was disappointing, barely-hot water and very low pressure.

-Comfortable and spacious room. -Easy check-in. -Modern amenities.

Clean room with an excellent bathroom. Communal facilities (kitchen and lounge) are also in good condition, with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Well located on the outer square of the Carcassonne old central town, walking distance to everywhere, including the castle town

Appartement is fairly basic but has everything you would need. Bedroom with ensuite separated by a curtain. Use of a communal large dining/sitting room. All in all nothing that we didn't like.

Well located within 12 mins of main restaurants and attractions. Very quiet area. Got an excellent night's sleep. The room and facilities are very adequate for one or two nights stay. Would certainly stay there again. Good choice for guests looking for a comfortable good value option.

I would have liked a kettle and some tea making facilities in the room, or in the kitchen for guests to use.

Upstairs bathroom plumbing is noisy. Could use some cups and a larger bin in the room.

Good central location for the town of Carcassonne and easy walk to the historic citadel. Secure bike storage and comfortable rooms. Good value.

Other guests being inconsiderate, relating to loud voices early in the morning and late at night in the communal area and from their bedrooms. Also loud tv volumes .

Hosts were helpful when communication was needed.

No bad parts, front door is a little narrow so it was hard getting my bike inside but that is minor and not their fault.

Well equipped and comfortable common area and kitchen. Room was nice and clean. Host was great and helpful, communication was totally over text which was fine.

Not a problem but I would appreciate it if the owners could be a bit more flexible. I came to know 2 weeks before the travel that I might not be able to travel and was thinking of cancelling. I would expect at least some refund on non-refundable property as they can rent it out again or atleast the cleaning charges. But nothing.. just told "running a business" 😞

The host was very nice, very bright property, spacious rooms, clean, all daily amenities were provided.

Description is clear about what is offered and not. Yet felt the kitchen was too strictly locked down. Shared toilet could have soap and scent refresher.

Charming shared entry and lovely private room. Perfectly hot and spacious private shower. Large comfortable bed. Convenient with desk, closet, and many shelves. Felt like home.

The matress has this plastic outer layer which is noicy if you turn in your sleep.

The location is great, the hosts are very helpful (communication via SMS) and we were allowed to store our bikes in the inner courtyard.
