The host was very kind and thoughtful. He lent us bikes, offered to give us a lift, and gave lots of useful advice. The breakfast was delicious. Great coffee and hot milk on request. We walked and cycled to nearby villages and we loved the scenery and the culture.

We had a great stay. Everything was just perfect. The location is quiet and well situated. perfect both for a stopover and for a longer stay. Claude is very warm, welcoming and genuinely cares about his guests. He has five rooms and two spacious apartments that are ideal for families. Everything is super clean, well looked after and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade yogurt from Claude. You can tell it’s made with love. There’s a large, secure private parking area on the property, which makes things really easy whether you’re staying a night or a week. WWe’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommendedw.

The room was a good size, with plenty of storage & a fridge for keeping drinks/food cool. The Window in the room was large enough to let in lots of light, and breeze to keep it cool during the hot night. Having shutters on them meant you could keep the weather & light pollutions outside, but keep an open window. Claude is the perfect host. Extremely helpful & happy to support any request he can, whilst also offering anything that may also be of use.

Everything promised in the listing and more. Such a friendly and helpful host, beautiful house, and comfortable rooms. Amazing, quiet country location just a 2-hour drive from Paris. Very reasonable room rates, easy to find and park. Excellent breakfast. Definitely get breakfast here as it's delicious and there's nowhere else to eat without getting in the car for 15 minutes.

Convenient if cycling the Tour de Bourgeois but otherwise not much else in the village

Claude was a very welcoming host. The room & communal lounge & dining area were very comfortable & stylishly decorated. Secure bike storage with electric charging points. Washing machine & dryer available for guests. Breakfast & evening meal were good.

It was all good

Wonderful welcome from our host who very kindly let us check in early on a wet day and made us a delicious omelette and cheese and salad. Just a short bike ride from the canal so ideal for a stopover. In the evening Claude’s wife cooked a delicious spinach tart followed by duck . In all a very good experience.

Great property with beautifully furnished rooms including dining room, lounge and outdoor patio. Hosts provide excellent meals cooked in their own kitchen plus useful advice on local wines and area tours, walking and cycling. Provide bikes if needed.

Nothing, we loved our stay

This is a wonderful place to stay and we wished we had longer there. We could not have been made more welcome by the hosts, although we were a late booking, every effort was made to ensure our stay was excellent. Guests are able to have an evening meal at , should they require one. Even though we had not given the normal day before notice, we were accommodated and had the most superb restaurant quality meal, home cooked , beautifully fresh and tasty local produce, prepared by Madame a fantastic chef who has an amazing knowledge no only about how to prepare food but also about local wine! Monsieur served our food, with a great sense of humour and ensured all food was explained and we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, a lovely selection to choose from bread, local cheeses, cereals, fruit, we really were very well looked after. We could not recommend L'Instant Present more highly and hope we will go back on our next visit to France!

Advice for improvement: an extra blanket or sheet for the beds. Also in summer it can get cold during the nights.

Kind, helpful en intelligent hosts. We stayed for dinner, and there was plenty of food. Property has been renovated so bathroom was quite new and comfortable. The owners seem to appreciate style. I liked the classic furtinure and decorations. I would love to come back!

A lovely welcome from Claude, a beautiful room and ensuite - spacious and cool and a very comfortable bed. THE evening meal provided by Claude and his partner was exceptional. The breakfast was also very, very good. Parking on site and plenty of good visits in the area.

We very much enjoyed our night at L'instant Present. Both dinner and breakfast were simple and delicious, with locally sourced ingredients and homemade jam. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful in giving advice on things to see in the area. We appreciated having a place to safely park our bikes for the night as well. This made for a memorable stop on our bike tour of the canal.

Very nice room, nicely decorated, very spacious, bed super comfortable (superking size). For Table d'hote, very good, honest french cooking. Great breakfast, everything you want, very good local ingredients, lovely home made yogurts.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay as well as with our gracious host, who was kind enough to make dinner possible for us at short notice, as we were on a road trip. Dinner was very good, the atmosphere warm and homely. We felt comfortable from the moment we entered the house. Our room and all amenities were excellent, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast included freshly baked croissants (classic as well as chocolate croissant) and very good cheese. All in all, we are very happy we came upon this lovely place and will fondly remember it.
