The decor, the contents and the owners were absolutely fabulous.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Beautiful property full of interesting and beautiful things. We were made to feel welcome from the moment the door opened and treated like old friends throughout our stay. Rooms were spacious, clean and made up nicely ahead of our arrival. Breakfast was lovely including homemade cake and we had the pleasure of Herve’s company throughout as we chatted and were looked after like family. Location is perfect with easy parking and a 2 minute walk in to the town centre. We regret not booking for longer!

    Nothing.

The breakfast was tasty but being watched by the host made me feel like I couldn’t eat what I wanted.

The shabby chic was just shabby. Cheap toilet and shower facilities, no curtains, crusty musty towels, awful pillows and uncomfortable bed, no water and ridiculously inflexible check in and check out policy.

Wonderful breakfast provided by Herve the owner and other guests. Our second time here an ideal stop off before crossing channel with plentiful restaurants nearby. Period house set perfectly with original features.

    Beds are typically French!

I love this period architecture. A handsome building. The room was perfectly adequate - comments about lack of bathroom door are too picky! Good shower, good location minutes from bustling centre. Herve was our perfect host. The breakfast, including home-made items was delicious and plentiful. Even paid parking behind the house was reasonable - and free parking not far away.

    Nothing!

Very pleasant and helpful host. Excellent breakfast, comfy bed. A quirky digital futuristic kettle in the room!

Location isn't great (rather seedy part of town), next door to a sex shop. Nearest parking around 2 corners a couple of hundred metres away Room quite small but OK, bathroom had no door, just a curtain which didn't give full privacy.

Stayed here last year and returned without hesitation. Hervé is the perfect host and his homemade cakes / flans are delicious for breakfast. Situated just off the main square so not noisy and a great recommendation for a restaurant (Au BonVivant) just around the corner.

An interesting, quirky property in a great location to access all the central shops, bars and restaurants. An excellent breakfast was provided and it was lovely to chat to Heuve and the other guests as we sat round the table together. Car parking was available round the corner in a free public car park with no problem finding spaces.

    All was fine.
