Tv was broken when we arrived but they chose not to fix it. No hot water in the showers only in the kitchen sink. Air conditioning does not work consistently ( shuts off every now and then and won’t go on till next day ) the central convenient location was also very noisy all day all night. There are big gaps under the door of bedroom so it doesn’t cut out the noise. There are a lot of stairs ( this was stated in orig description but they are very uneven and narrow so very difficult to get a bike case up them ) the floors weren’t exactly clean, there were ants. It is 2 seperate rooms with an open terrace separating them.

Convenient location to why I was there. Kitchen facilities were helpful.

Mouse in room and mouse droppings evident- looked like hadn’t been cleaned 4th floor which is 80 stairs, hard work when doing a few times a day and with luggage Pictures deceptive- main living area and bedroom are two separate rooms adjoined by balcony so you need to walk over balcony to get between them Balcony has sea view but what you don’t see on the pictures is it is above a courtyard with restaurant kitchens opening into it, staff sat around smoking, very noisy Overall felt like it needs a good clean One toilet was out of order and left hanging off the wall with plumbing exposed Slight smell from drainage when using shower Shower needs a good clean Wouldn’t suit elderly, mobility issues. Wouldn’t recommend for more than a short stay.

Third floor with no lift was too much for us in the heat albeit we are in our 60's. Big struggle with suitcases.

Many things, firstly the property we were given wasn’t what I had booked, I booked a studio flat with balcony. Instead I was given a two bedroom flat(with bigger deposit of £500) than a studio flat with balcony(£300) the apartment we had was on ground floor with no balcony+no windows to open as it was to loud outside and couldn’t relax. Washing machine door wouldn’t open so couldn’t do washing, apartment was very dark during the day and hot water was temper-mental.

Location was great, close to shops and restaurants.

We were asked to complete our own house keeping including walking all of our trash to the trash bins in a nearby street. We were not informed of the no Uber/taxi drop off zone which made arrival and departure confusing. However the most concerning issue here was that there was a safety incident that occurred in the villa whereby a duty of care was owed to us as the guests and the staff did not take this seriously. I went to emergency hospital (after they told me not to bother going to the hospital) which has incurred medical costs and I will need to cover them myself as the hotel did not acknowledge or take responsibility for the incident and lack of safety procedures. Please be careful!

it was exceptionally loud outside most of the time and throughout the night because the apartment is right beside restaurants - this element did not suit us but if you can sleep through a snow storm or you’re out all night anyway it might not worry you there was a lack of blockout curtains in the bedrooms so very hard to manage brightness of the lights of outside

this property is very close to everything in the old town and has enough of the basic facilities for a pleasant stay and was neat and tidy on our arrival. staff where we collected keys were very helpful and polite and friendly

There are steps down into one of the bedrooms and there is no handrail. The main light wasn't working in this particular room either, and as a result, my mother-in-law missed her step and had a nasty fall. We did report this to the reception the following day, and they sent someone round to fix the light, but he didn't come until late that evening, and could not fix it. He said he would return the next morning to complete the repair, but he never did. We managed by putting on the side lamps in the room, but this wasn't ideal and the stairs really do present a hazard. The other main issue was the noise at night - whilst you have to expect noise in the centre of the old town, we didn't realise it would literally last all night until around 4.30- 5.00am! I would recommend earplugs if you are staying here.

Comfortable and clean apartment in a very central location in the heart of the old town of Nice. It is within very easy reach of the main attractions in the old town, and there is a picturesque view of a square and a church from the main windows. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The staff at the reception office were all very friendly and helpful. If you don't mind noise at night, and you are not travelling with elderly relatives, this would be a very good choice. The apartment block also has a small lift which is helpful.

Allergies got triggered for both me and my partner as the room was extremely dusty and quite dirty. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep as it was loud outside, especially on the weekend we stayed. We didn’t have enough shampoo and soap for the stay, and there was no washing up liquid available, just the dishwasher pod, which was useless since there was no dishwasher. Overall it was just too pricey for a tiny studio that’s not very well maintained

The communal hallway was filthy dirty and had rubbish stacked and mice. The air conditioning units had a sewage smell perhaps stagnant water which filled the apartment during night one. We then did not use but the open windows meant lots of noise from busy streets below so we didn’t sleep well. The third underground bedroom was musty, dusty and had no windows. Horrible to sleep in.

Fantastic response of staff managing the properties. Our fridge broke and so 1 guy checked it immediately, called another and within 10 minutes the fridge/freezer was carried 5 flights of stairs away and only 5 minutes later a new fridge arrived. Impressive (especially the guy running with a fridge freezer on his back down the stairs!)

We weren’t aware till the day of check-in that we’d have a 4th floor apartment with no elevator. That was extremely disappointing. Also the unit we were given was not accurately represented by photos on the listing. The listing chose the brightest spaces to highlight and our unit was dark, dingy and extremely old. The toilet in particular almost tipped over every time we used it.

The AC units worked really well and the beds were decently comfortable. We also really liked the location as it was close to restaurants in Old Town and close to the beach.

Shower unit could do with updating

Keys easy to pick up from the office. Central location close to everything but far away enough not to be troubled by noise. Clean apartment with comfortable bed.

It looked and felt like the unit had not been cleaned or maintained prior to our arrival. For instance, a grey mat was so filthy and stained that we asked for its removal, it was giving my wife hay fever from the dust. The clothes rack was broken, one of the two drinking glasses was cracked, the dining table wobbled, the shower was mouldy, bed pillows were horrible and none of the written instructions for the TV and washing machine matched the items installed. Someone did arrive and completed a few jobs but also promised to come back with a clothes rack and organise maintenance for the shower. Never happened.

The location in the middle, back of old town Nice, made it easy to walk around this amazing place but also made it difficult to arrange a drop off and pick up with luggage. Walking in and out with steps was the only option, so people with mobility issues be aware! We would have appreciated a heads up from Aparthotel as we asked for no steps and/or a lift and this could have been achieved in a different apartment. The room did have two of the items we specifically asked for; a large walk-in shower and a washing machine, but nowhere to hang the wet washing and the shower was mouldy and very dirty. Unit Chateau #2 only has an internal window so be aware it is very dark. When we checked in the next day the girl on reception said she’d send someone around.

Small showers. Bedroom is compact. Be aware this apartment is four floors up with no lift. Would not suit the elderly A seagull stole my croissant!

Location in the old town was excellent. Restaurants and bars close by. Small balcony that overlooked the market and the sea Nice size living room and small kitchen Two toilets and showers, albeit the ones in the bedroom were small To access the bedroom from the lounge you had to go outside up a couple of steps past the balcony. Its quirky.
