We arrived 5 minutes before 11 pm, but our keys had already been left on a bench. We received the message with the door code and instructions only at 23.06 - already after we were inside , as the doors were opened by other guests. It seems the receptionist left before the end of working hours and sent the message later. It’s not a big problem, just it didn’t feel very polity. Also, the hotel has no air conditioning.

We stayed for one night. The room was not very big, but it was nicely furnished and cozy, with an electric kettle and coffee cups provided. The building itself is a very beautiful example of architecture, which adds to the charm of the stay. Bathroom was recently renovated.

Smallish room and quite basic and small bathroom. The balcony was small but the smoke from other people's balconies drifted in occasionally.

Excellent location in centre of town with free on street parking all day and night. Friendly staff

Rooms are not well soundproof. You can hear noise from other rooms and a lot of slamming doors. A bit annoying when you want to sleep early

Very good location. Close to everything.

There is WiFi, but the lack of security settings caused my phone to reject it so that it was effectively unusable.

The refurbished le Sacca was a great find. On arrival the faded exterior signs were a little off putting, but the interior is all new to a good standard. My room (no. 66) was well designed, spacious and comfortable with plenty of sockets, and a good sized shower room. There's tea and coffee making (not always seen in France) and a small fridge. It's on a quiet street, so even though there's no A/C you can sleep with the windows open. It's five minutes or less walk to the shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and the breakfast choice was more extensive than some I've had on this trip. Overall, a great place for a two day stopover during my GR10 hike. NB: I'm not sure if all the rooms have been refurbished yet, so make sure you get one that has been by checking the room pictures.

The breakfast offering was not good. The selection was very limited, the milk had gone sour, and I had to buy food at a local market to compensate. The food is why I would not stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located for hiking or shopping and such, and the staff was small but friendly and was able to answer all of our questions to make sure we had a good time.

Spoiled milk and orange juice at the breakfast. 13 euro for breakfast and not great value. Very dated rooms, from the 1980s or early 1990s. Hot in the summer with poor ventilation. Hand soap for the shower. Weird commercial soap and toilet paper dispensers you would see in a fast food restaurant.

Friendly staff. Great location with ample parking.

    We liked everything

I couldn't fault this hotel. On arrival the very friendly owner insisted on upgrading our room for free. We looked at the room we had booked and the one he was offering to upgrade us to and immediately accepted. It was a beautifully modern and renovated huge room with a modern bathroom. There was even tea and coffee facilities in the room which we weren't expecting as we brought our own kettle (being English !) . The bed was large and comfortable and the whole ambience within the hotel was lovely with very friendly staff who helped me to connect all three of my devices to the internet when i had some issues. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food and lovely coffee and croissants which is all you need sometimes in France. We ate in the hotel for 2 of our four nights and the waiter was friendly and welcoming and the food was superb. The giant profiterole dessert was perhaps a course too far but it was delicious and very filling. we had such a lovely time in Cauterets as the weather was amazing and this hotel made it just perfect
