Breakfast was good and the general facilities in the rooms have been upgraded to a much improved standard.

United KingdomWe stopped at Hotel Aster for one night on our trip between Calais and Alsace. Our room was attractive, functional and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location in the town of Briey was quiet, so we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast included a variety of both cold and hot items. The highlight of our stay was dinner, which was excellent, and there was entertainment that night in the restaurant in the form of a “crooner” singing American and European songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The lady on the reception desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We would certainly stay at Hotel Aster again!

United KingdomCheck in after 4.00pm was done remotely. The text message led you to believe that it was located at the hotel entrance,when in fact it was located by the roadside. Wasted at least 20 minutes looking for it,in the dark and in the rain. Not a good start to our stay.
Convenient for shopping and choice of restaurants nearby. Car park for hotel guests.

Location was perfect for our motorbike tour, facilities were one of the best on our 14 day tour of France. Drinks and meals were equally one of the best also. Parking was a bonus
