There was a bit of confusion as Bills were paid at the resturant but showing as unpaid on check out plus Breakfast was put on the Bill but no one had.However the lady took it off but this should not happen.

The website mentions Covid and having to have vaccination certificates and wear a mask. I emailed and asked if this was still necessary and received no reply. I think your website needs upgrading!

Breakfast was good and the general facilities in the rooms have been upgraded to a much improved standard.

We stopped at Hotel Aster for one night on our trip between Calais and Alsace. Our room was attractive, functional and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location in the town of Briey was quiet, so we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast included a variety of both cold and hot items. The highlight of our stay was dinner, which was excellent, and there was entertainment that night in the restaurant in the form of a “crooner” singing American and European songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The lady on the reception desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We would certainly stay at Hotel Aster again!

Check in after 4.00pm was done remotely. The text message led you to believe that it was located at the hotel entrance,when in fact it was located by the roadside. Wasted at least 20 minutes looking for it,in the dark and in the rain. Not a good start to our stay.

Convenient for shopping and choice of restaurants nearby. Car park for hotel guests.

Great location with secure parking. The updated rooms are really comfortable with a good finish. perfect location for exploring Briey and the surroundings, or an overnight stay to/from the Shuttle. Restaurant and bar on site with lovely grounds for alfresco dining.

Beautiful location, quiet and cozy beds. The property was very clean and the food of the restaurant is excellent. Didn’t got a chance to explore nearby areas because of our shot overnight stay and journey further ahead. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The Hotel is located in the valley, a short walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants. It has a large private car park. The rooms are modern and comfortable. It is a pleasant stroll to the lake.

One of our group was woken by guests leaving early for work, other than that no other issues experienced. the level of noise would not stop us returning or recommending to others when in that area of France.

Location was perfect for our motorbike tour, facilities were one of the best on our 14 day tour of France. Drinks and meals were equally one of the best also. Parking was a bonus

Breakfast was 25 euros for 2 people. When we got their there was little on offer. No sausage or eggs left and didn't replace them. There were a ton of flies, and they were on everything! We stuck to eating stuff in a wrapper or under cover

We asked for a family room but were given two large rooms next to each other with an opening door, it was perfect for our children, the rooms were spotless and like new. The restaurant in the evening was amazing the food perfect and great value for money
