    mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, very small for 4 persons (<48qm), the garden furniture were removed by the neighbors, and we should pay for them

    On arrival in the evening we were confronted with a single-bed linen and one towel, while we paid for a double-bed set. The problem could only be resolved the next morning, so we had to sleep is spartan conditions. The linen and the towel saw their better times, so we decided to buy our own set the next day at the end. A lot of kitchenware apparently collected over years. All the necessary stuff was there, but the cupboards were full of old things.

    A very good location, very close to the skibus and a 15-min walk to the town center. Very accessible, you can part your car just outside on a parking lot. Enough space for 2, but it can get really crowdy for 6!

    Mold in the main bedroom, on one entire wall behind the bed. Also mold in the bathroom ceiling (reported in another review from March 2024). Clearly the owner doesn’t care about the condition of the apartment nor the health of his guests as he was aware of mold issues and had not adequately repaired/treated the issue. We had to sleep in the living room. When notified owner, he showed no interest in a deep treatment solution which is necessary for mold problems and wanted to send his regular cleaning lady with bleach, saying in 10 minutes the problem would be resolved. Obviously we did not agree as the mold spores would spread to the other rooms of the apartment. We were traveling with my elderly mother (almost 80) and my 3 year old so we were concerned about their health. We also had a “hard” time getting our 400 euro deposit back, taking a full week to return. We also contacted Holidu for assistance as the owner had stopped responding to our messages after showing discontent for the mold. More cons: No BBQ as included in the description of the apartment. No countertop oven as shown in the pictures.

    The location is fantastic! Incredible views! Right on the Swiss border. The price would have been good if the apartment did not have a mold issue. Only offered a small compensation after getting apartment management AND Booking.com involved as owner resisted compensation due to poor condition of the apartment. Owner finally agreed to a small compensation with the condition of a good review, which I did not accept as I said my review would be HONEST. Pros: the apartment provider, Holidu, worked hard to get a small compensation and was prompt to answer emails and call me/owner if needed. A 10 for Holidu and Felipe!
