Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere was only 1 toilet for a place that could sleep 6 people. Also our shower had a sewage smell that did go away after first use but it was pretty bad. Also they expected you to take out trash and remove sheets at end of stay. That seemed like a lot of work for a hotel residence.
Great location, spacious 2 bedroom, great breakfast, good restaurant next door, easy underground parking

Israel€500 deposit for 2 nights stay?! The room has nothing cost so much. Checkin after 4pm and checkout BEFORE 10am?! Seriously? 75 euro penalties if clean dishes are not taken out from the dishwasher?! Guys, these rules are just ridiculous
Good view and location, parking

FranceJust having to take out your own rubbish but it’s not the end of the world.
Covered parking at a reasonable price and 2.3m clearance which is great. Spa was nice but make sure you book in advance as it can get busy. Room was lovely and well presented with a balcony, overall a really nice clean place and great stay.

United KingdomCould have done with a welcome pack to know where everything was, we had to ask how to get in the locker room for example and didn’t know the WiFi password for a while until we found a little sticker by the front door so a welcome pack to explain things like this would have been good. Also sometimes it was a long wait for help from staff when they were busy.
Lovely looking hotel, very clean and well presented, location was good but up hill to cable car, just something to bear in mind. Cleaners came in everyday, made the beds and topped us up with tea, coffee, a few biscuit treats and toilet rolls which was really nice.

United KingdomBreakfast was not included and charged at €20 per day. We found it limited for non pork eaters. A toaster would have been nice. The Sauna and Steam are chargeable from 4pm onwards!!! Towels are not provided by the pool. Check-out is 10am instead of the normal 11am in most places, Meant we had to rush breakfast the last day: couldn't have a lay-in. Gym only has one of 4 machines. No mats /rollers to stretch after a long day of skiing. Ski racks are NOT heated which meant wet boots the following day. We had a sewery smell in the main bathroom which didnt get addressed during our stay. We were in the 4th floor and sound proofing was poor. Check-in is at 5???!!! Prior to arrival trying to make contact was not easy, many different numbers for different enquiries. We were booked for a 5 day stay, bins were emptied and room hoovered/mopped on request but no linen changes or beds made. Washing-up wasn't put back but this didn't bother us. We didn't know if it was meant to be like that. Was not ski-in ski out. You need to walk up as you exit the hotel and then take some stairs to the main gondola which then takes you to Bergers (main ski area) very quickly. This didn't bother us. Overall it was a nice stay.
We had a 6p suite which was a duplex - we loved this. Kitchen was well equipped, a sponge/liquid/cloth set was provided. Rooms nicely sized. Hotel is modern and nice/clean on ground floor level. It has a pool and tiny gym. The intersport ski rental is onsite too and guests get a discount WITH skis & boot hire.Breakfast area nice and modern serves till 10.30am. Indoor parking for €16 euros per day. Staff generally nice.

United KingdomIt was very expensive, and there is a significant amount of cleaning they make you do to avoid further charges. At this price, I should not be asked to clean, that’s what the cleaners are for.
Great location, with intersport in the same building and a short walk to the Alpe Express lift. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. Short walk to all the restaurants and supermarkets.

IrelandLight fitting and shower gel were not available when we arrived but quickly rectified by staff when we brought to their attention. No EV chargers in basement car park. Could do with more food options on site. We opted to purchase our breakfast from local supermarket and ate in the apartment.

New ZealandAs with other comments this pool is cool. The kids were fine but after a cold day skiing I like it to be a few degrees warmer. The pool area is really warm though. I would have liked the kids area to be open. It wasn’t clear when we booked that this is a staffed kids club. There wasn’t much for our 4 yr old to do - he skied half days but was too old for the local crèche. Our 5 month old was too young too unfortunately.
Clean warm apartment with great ski facilities. The daily fresh bread was yummy. Indoor parking was great. We got regular housekeeping for the room which we don’t expect after reading other reviews. Check in was easy but we arrived mid week, it was extremely busy arriving on change over day. Good location. Easy to get to.

United KingdomBreakfast was expensive and needed to be pre-booked. We thought we would be able to have a just a coffee and croissant as we saw a advertisement for this, however this also needed to be pre-booked. We were told to pre-book so our fault but we made the incorrect presumption that coffee and croissant would be fine.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, perfectly located at the top of Alpe d'Huez. The room was spacious enough for all of us, featuring a kitchenette and three balconies, which were perfect for our bikes. We could store them safely without any worries. The staff were friendly and recommended some excellent restaurants. The hotel also had a simple bar for much-needed drinks and washer-dryer facilities, which were very welcome. Overall, it was a great hotel experience!
