The flat is on the ground floor and the bedroom overlooks the street. Sleeping with the window open in summer might make some feel uneasy, it was fine for us

The patio is nice, the flat is cosy, the shower is great, the kitchen is well equipped, the bed quite comfortable, and having a fan is a nice touch. Check in/out was super easy and it’s overall great value for money. The flat is on the smaller and older side (apart from the new bathroom), but it doesn’t take away anything from it. Would come back :)

There was a little noise from people passing and traffic late at night and in the early morning - but we knew about it from reviews and it didn’t really disturb us.

It was charming - full of character and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. I loved the fragrance of jasmine and wild roses in the courtyard. It is just minutes away from lovely restaurants and shops. It was exactly as described.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Jeanne. The hosts have thought of everything and it is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town with plenty of nearby restaurants, bars and shops and only a fifteen minute walk to the castle. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and parking nearby was easily available and free over the weekend which was an added bonus. The weather was sunny too so the outdoors seating area was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely kitchen and very comfortable bed. Also a great shower set up. The complementary coffee and complete kitchen setup was most welcome.

We did feel the per night price was a bit high for the time of year we were there. The room was tiny but great for our needs. the bathroom was wonderful but I almost didn't get a private bathroom because I didn't understand from the listing that the room I initially chose was a shared bath. I'm thankful for the prompt to 'upgrade' to a private bath.

we LOVED being in Carcassonne. it was absolutely magical! The location cannot be beat. the views, the food, the access to the cathedral, everything was top notch and definitely a bucket list item for me! It initially felt a bit like a medieval Disneyland but that soon passed as we walked the walls and viewed the cathedral. Absolutely fantastic! And the views of the bay and the story of the tides.. the history is everywhere in this place!

Would have benefited from air con as didn’t feel comfortable leaving windows open on ground floor. Toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel would have been useful due to current flight restrictions regarding liquids.

Good kitchen, lovely bathroom and a small private terrace. Hosts were flexible and allowed us to leave luggage. Great central location. Very clean and tidy.

Location was close to town center. Bedroom very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed. Apartment was very clean. Enjoyed sitting outside in the little courtyard/garden. Hosts Erik and Jeanne were excellent to work with, prompt communications and provided clear instructions about the apartment and nearby restaurants and shops. There was nothing we didn't like about the apartment. On two nights, we were unfortunate and frustrated to have been kept awake late into the night as there was very loud shouting from another apartment down the street. However, that can happen anywhere. Aside from that, it was quiet at night.

The apartment is small but spotlessly clean, with all the facilities that we required. It is ideally located and was accessible to everything we wished to do. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is a nice size with good drawer storage. No wardrobe, but there are hangers on wall hooks that were adequate as we were staying for just 4 nights. We did read the reviews prior to booking and were very pleased to find that the apartment lived up to our expectations.

Apartment needed cleaning, kitchen chair covers soiled and outside terrace could have been made much nicer to sit out. Mould on ceiling in corridor but property is very old and may be originating from adjacent properties.

Entrance to the apartment is through an alleyway and little off putting, but once in to the apartment it was superb.

Location great. Eric was on his way to book in another family so helped us to settle in quickly, He also found us parking as their is no free parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Jeanne. It's perfectly located to enjoy Carcassone,  beautifully clean and smartly  furnished. Jeanne and Erik were perfect hosts who were accessible if we needed information. Can't recommend it as a place to explore Carcassonne highly enough.

I can't fault this property, it is a lovely comfortable apartment in the old town, right next to the cathedral. It has all the facilities you need to self cater if you wish, but it is close to restaurants and cafes if you don't want to both it is a fifteen minute walk from the citadel

I didn't like leaving, I would have enjoyed staying a few extra days.

Fantastic location, a few minutes from the shops and a perfect position to travel up to the castle. The apartment was private and secure and it was located just far enough from the main areas that you weren't disturbed by noise at night time. The apartment was perfect for 2 people, clean and had all the facilities you require for a great holiday. The bed was great and if you don't plan on going out in the evening, you can sign into one of your Apps on the TV. If you plan on doing that, have a takeaway from 'Oh My Pizza', 5 minutes walk just beside the 'Place Carnot'. Best Pizza ever. If you are a history lover, the castle is amazing. You will probably be there for hours because there is so much to see, you won't be disappointed.

The apartment is in a quiet area but sights, shops, cafes etc are easily reached. It was easy to reach the apartment from the free airport to city bus. Very comfortable bed, good shower,. Great communication with the owner.
