We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyPerhaps not better, but one should be aware no evening meals were available and it was a bit of a drive to local restaurants. Would recommend Port Albert, but need to check which days it opens.
Lovely breakfast, individually served with plenty of choice from fruit to cold platter. Room in a house set under trees which was good due to heatwave, plenty of space for luggage as we were touring. All staff were very helpful and site manager spoke fluent german and english.

FranceMy room smelled badly of damp and was really not clean. Tea and coffee was poor, reception shut so I was just sent a map to find the room and no access to a fridge , restaurant shut not even possible to get a drink…. The breakfast was very poor, stale bread and awful coffee and 12 euros! Overall terrible value for money - the room and the breakfast were hugely over priced … I was very disappointed and would never stay there again
