- no lights for reading in bed - the breakfast is great but the breakfast area is not practical at all - no space for putting your plate when filling it….. a very difficult exercise

Nice and quiet, very pet friendly. Very comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent! It was a very good hotel for me as a dog owner. We particularly enjoyed that the hotel is near an airport: no fireworks!

Everything great as we didn't need access into Lyon city centre.

We liked the comfy room, good bed, air con, clean bathroom etc to be expected from this chain. Pool was a bonus and we appreciated the secure parking. There were families with small children so it must get high marks there as well. Staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, professional and to be commended. Good people clearly well trained to a high standard so BRAVO!! We had to hunt to find an open grill place for dinner as august closures meant the very few restaurants we could find were shut. Perhaps worth reconsidering the in house restaurant if we were to return. The location is airport friendly and easy for motorway access. Have no illusions that you are in the city as you are in conference centre territory on the outskirts. We didn't breakfast so can't comment.

It is a bit remote with not a lot surrounding it but then again that’s not the hotels fault

The waiter who took our dinner order did not pass on our requirements so we ended up with the wrong food. Another waiter apologised and sorted it for us, but we didn't get an apology from the waiter who made the error.

Great location, close to airport. Comfortable rooms, quiet. Lovely breakfast where we could our own eggs! Accommodated vegan and dairy intolerant diets by adapting one of the meals on offer.

The hotel is outside of the city, so you will have to get a bus + tram (around 45 mins) to go in to the city centre.

Clean room and comfortable bed and close to McDonald’s. We booked this hotel because we went to the concert at Groupama Stadium and it’s only 10 minutes drive to get there.

The room was very comfortable, our dog stayed with us and we were able to take her into the garden. The breakfast was tasty but they ran out of bacon.

Breakfast was not that great. Very little choice. It was a disappointment compared to other Mercure hotels I stayed.

Hotel in general was good. Also the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.

The only issue was, despite trying everything and following the very detailed instructions, I could not get the temperature lower in my room. So I slept with the window open a crack.

Reception staff were superb - best I have seen in years - friendly, efficient and helpful. The layout of the room was really well done. LOVED the foam pillow (as pillows are always rubbish everywhere I travel). I slept really well with a comfortable mattress/pillow combination.

I asked the receptionist to be woken up at 04:30, no one called, I went down to the reception where I thought there was a receptionist, while I was waiting for the taxi, I left my luggage in the lobby, and I went out to smoke, the doors being blocked from the outside I could not re-enter the hotel to retrieve my luggage and the taxihe arrived and tried to help me but no one was there. After 20-30 minutes I continued to knock on the window for someone to come and open to retrieve the luggage, I risked losing the plane, in the end the receptionist woke up and unlocked entrance door,

Very poor food quality Very poor food choice (same menu every day) no Canal Plus channel TV Despite I was in half board I was forced to pay the launch if it was above 30€ - it is a real shame !!
