Fab hotel - service was exceptional, friendly and capable. Dealt with my messing up of my booking several times with no fuss. Nothing seemed too much of a problem and they didn't present like they resented to be at work. Lots of parking immediately in front of the hotel so our campervan was off road. The breakfast was GREAT, especially as vegetarians and excellent for loading before a big activity day. Plenty of choice and kept topped up. The room and shared spaces were smart and clean, we loved having the mountain biking on the large TV screens in the bar area. We were there at a lower end of season so use of spa facilities was uncrowded. Too many children in the pool, unfortunately, but the outdoor jacuzzi was a pleasure to use during a thunderstorm.

It's annoying if somewhere says 'pet friendly' but asks for additional costs. A bit noisy at the front of the hotel with traffic in the AM. The room was hot so we had the balcony doors open for temp regulation. Better coffee for the room - instant coffee is such a let down, especially when other touches are so refined. I ended up paying over the odds because I made an error on the original booking (by booking.com) which made it an unfortunately expensive couple of nights.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel – truly one of our favorites during our long trip where we stayed in 8 different places. Everything was top of the top! The location is perfect, and our room with a balcony offered a beautiful view. The spa and swimming pool were spotlessly clean with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to the receptionist, who was extremely nice, friendly, and always helpful – he really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing, with a great selection and very attentive staff. Everyone we met here was kind, friendly, and eager to help. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and great service.

Friendly, great facilities, Decaf coffee available, great pool, clean and fresh, great breakfast, great for kids, good parking and bike storage and tools. Great staff and lovely atmosphere! Would def go back here.

Air con would be welcome. Pool table and darts clash!

Modern, very clean, great breakfast options.

No air conditioning in the room, struggled to keep cool during the night.

Facilities were good with pool and jacuzzi and pool table and dartboard. Had a meal the food was great and the service was good all round

We loved the pool, spa games room, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was amazing. The family room was a good size for 4, and would have slept 5 with no problems.

It’s so beautifully presented a very particular and niche vibe. Everything looks brand new and is so well maintained. The spa and pool just perfect as is the outdoor hot tub. Magnificent choice for breakfast and great menu for evening meals also Lamb was to die for

Excellent breakfast

Staff are welcoming and helpful. Good facilities and clean throughout the hotel, relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are great, comfortable big bed, bathrooms are a decent size with excellent large shower, nice touch having tea/coffee facilities and small fridge. Very appreciative of the fan in the room. On site private parking.

Modern, clean, comfortable the balcony room was large. Good restaurant and breakfast, staff very helpful, parking right outside the door.

In an ideal world AC, however given it’s primarily a winter resort it’s understandable that it doesn’t (we were there in July!).

Staff were great. Facilities wise it had everything we could need. Bike storage is very good with a wash area and tools. Spa is very nice. Room is great.

Air conditioning in the room would have been nice as it was very hot but there was a fan.

Everything about this hotel is great. This is our 2nd stay and we’ve come back for the comfort, the vibe and that welcoming, homely feeling you get from the property and staff. The facilities are really good (beautiful spa, pool, terrace, room for kids, sofa area…) and everything is always spotless. The staff is always very friendly and ready to help. The food is particularly tasty, from the breakfast (which is a highlight of the stay) to the restaurant, Bertine. It’s always such a relaxing experience. We will be back again!
