Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo complaints about our stay.
This was our second stay at Alp'Azur. As previously, the staff were extremely attentive to our requests, helpful and warm. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of continental breakfast foods and the location couldn't have been better for foods and ski rentals.

United KingdomHad originally booked for a twin but wasn’t very clear at the end of process with booking.com to stipulate so ended up sharing a small twin with my hairy mate! Should of just booked a single, had the same room and paid half the price.
Excellent breakfast, especially if gluten intolerant, lots of cakes, bread and quiche made specially.

FranceThe steep staircase to enter the hotel feels a bit dangerous, particularly when wearing ski boots; skis are stored in an external room, separately from the boots. That room needs to be locked and keys must be returned inside the hotel, which makes the whole thing a bit annoying - although not a major problem
Excellent location, staff, and bedroom overall. The owner was very kind.

United KingdomThe coffee from the coffee machine. It’s not terrible, but could be better :)
The Hotel looks very nice from outside and inside is even better. The wood deco is fantastic! It has everything even table games to play with family/friends. The breakfast is very nice with salty and sweet homemade food, fruit, very complete. The staff is friendly and the views breathtaking. The reception opens for booking in at 3pm, it has WiFi, a pizzeria and a Crêperie is very near (1 or 2 min walking distance), and the cabins to get up the snow to ski are just oposite the hotel.

United KingdomAs the hotel is a chalet-style building, the walls are thin and it can be very noisy. There were some very loud guests staying at the same time, on the same floor and sometimes it was like they were in the same room, it was that bad. I would take some ear plugs next time as it was very difficult to sleep. The ski room needs better security. It is just a shared key and no individual lockers. You would never leave your own skis in there. They need a code lock like they have on the front door, plus then individual lockers for each room with separate keys. There isn’t a bar as such. They do service bar drinks in the lobby but this stops after 8.30pm.
The location of this hotel is excellent, and main reason we would think about it again. It is 20m from the mid station of the bucket lifts and it is possible to ski right the way back, for intermediate level skiers. The hotel is clean, very pretty and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomBreakfast is fine but really basic. Nothing hot bar a boiled egg. Probably could be improved but wouldn’t stop me returning.
Location of the hotel is 10/10. Easy access to ski hire (next door if wanted). Lift is directly opposite the hotel. Hôtel is in the village so restaurants and facilities on the doorstep.

United KingdomWe had a three bed family room and housekeeping only ever made one bed?! Reception / owners were quite cold. Breakfast overpriced and not feasible for a family of four each day. Resort is expensive but we were aware before booking.

BelgiumOur cupboard in the main room smelled like sewage when left closed, probably due to proximity to the toilets. Still rather unpleasent, but after leaving door open and ventilating regularly it was ok. The lights in the toilet had a life on their own, it worked when it wanted.
The location was excellent and the staff very kind and forthcoming. Our room was very spacious and had plenty of room for storing clothes, luggages etc. The owner also allowed our dog in the rooms, though they seem to have had lots of bad experience with allowing pets of careless owners. We also highly appreciated the extra room with heating for the skiboots, which allwed boots to dry over night. There is also a separate location to store skiis and snowboards with plenty of space per room. Breakfast was plenty, but mostly carbs as options. Some tomatoes, cucumber and paprika would be a nice addition, but what is offered is of quality and delicious.
