Floor was dirty in hotel and room, bathroom was looking a little run down, tea, coffee machine not working, breakfast not worth paying the extra

Used the hotel as my last stop before getting a ferry from Calais, checking in is done by a machine outside so self check in, as know one is there, but easy enough to do, plenty of parking, good location as it’s close to the road to get to the ferry, but still in a nice area, got a selection of restaurants around and shops and petrol before getting on the road, room was ok for what I needed, bed was comfortable, floor was a little dirty, and bathroom was clean but looking a little bit tired, no where in the hotel to get anything just a couple of drinks machines but one wasn’t working, breakfast is extra, and not really worth it, would use again for the same thing for just one night before getting ferry, it’s not a hotel for a holiday

The hotel was very basic. Breakfast was limited choice and basic choice.

It was a reasonably priced transit hotel that with a Buffalo Grill next door for food. We had plenty of secure parking for our group of motorcycles. Overall it was reasonable value for money.

Sink was blocked took ages for water to drain away, carpet could have done with a good clean and hover, breakfast is not worth paying for really disappointed, very very basic and not good

Handy for what I needed, a couple of hours and easy reach for Calais, close to get on the main route to Calais, good parking, quiet place, with a few options to eat close by for my last stop before home, room was ok, roomy, air conditioning, comfortable bed, clean bedding, good shower, bathroom nice and clean, would stay again for a stop before heading home,

Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Plenty of parking. It's OK for a one night stop over but not advised for longer stay. Not many places to eat near by. Only a buffalo grill, but the food here was great.

After closing of reception tickets are to be obtained via a dispenser at the entrance. In theory this works beautifully. However, when booking two rooms I have experienced that one time the machine gave out two tickets but only one key, and last time the machine gave out two keys, but no tickets. Therefore I had no clue what roomnumbers the keys were for. Luckily the night porter responded directly to my call and sorted things out within minutes.

As a regular visitor the reason I keep coming back is that location, price and quality fit my purpose in an excellent manner. Staff is very supportive, also after formal,closing of reception.

The hotel met our needs, thank you. I think the car park gate was not closed at night - perhaps it was not working. But it seems to be a secure area.

Accommodation was the usual high standard, we have stayed here before. The rooms are comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

Carpet in hallways could do with cleaning, and breakfast could do with revamping very basic and minimal

I use this as my last stop before getting ferry, it’s very convenient to get on the road and a couple of hours away, it’s in a nice pleasant area with eating places near by and petrol station and a few shops, , hotel has plenty of safe parking, staff are pleasant and helpful , hotel is clean & tidy, rooms are clean & tidy , bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean & tidy with nice shower, breakfast was extra and very basic and minimal, but a nice hotel to stay just before going home.

I prefer hotels with staff at the desk, the check-in was a bit stressful. Also, the carpet floors in the bedroom were filthy. Mostly stains, but still very dirty. The air conditioning didn’t work so we had to open the window and couldn’t close the curtain with the window open, so felt a bit exposed to the outside.

Affordable and overall clean, beds and shower were all clean.

We have stayed at Akena in Reims on two occasions a we’re very impressed with the hotel and especially the staff who were most helpful. This one did not match up to Reims in any way. Most disappointing.

My room smelled like cigarette smoke. Particularly the bath room. I complained to the front desk within 10 minutes of check in and they said they were full and had no rooms to switch me too.

They had parking and it was a good place for me to start my Paris to Roubaix bike ride.

Breakfast was terrible. No emtpy plate, not filled food (need to wait or request). Options very poor. Personel does not speak any word in english and is not able to issue correct invoice.
