The stairs are winding and as everyone mentions the lift stops mid floors so stairs are always used. Good excercise!

This was our second stay this year. The staff are always exceptionally friendly ,welcoming and helpful booking taxis,lending charging cables,helping with ironing and our dietary need! The double glazing and AC ensure a peaceful night, although I like the windows open to hear the city noises. The location is close to Gare de Lyon and right on the 91 bus route to Gare du Nord. Excellent restaurants close by.

Coming from Australia I am used to hotel rooms having an electric kettle and tea-bags. In Europe this seems not to be the case. At least my room had a Nespresso machine.

A small but comfortable room, reached by a small but useful lift. Check-in staff member was helpful and I am grateful she spoke English (and was patient with my poor French).

The washroom is too small , it’s really not easy and the door didn’t close . And the stairs are dangerous , it’s really scary to pull bags through those stairs.

Walking distance from the train station , there are everything from pharmacy, money exchange, atm, food outlet , souvenir shop , departmental store nearby .

Staff were very friendly, great location and they helped me greatly by having adapters from all the countries and could lend me one, so I could charge my computer.

The hotel offers free hot drinks via a machine near reception which is great- coffee/ hot chocolate etc. For guests who like black tea ( E.G from the UK) it would be very nice if they could provide cold milk for use in making tea. Some staff were able to locate some but others couldn’t or wouldn’t. It’s a small thing but that’s what they could improve perhaps. No other complaints at all

The elevator does not start from ground floor, you need to drag your luggage(s) up stair cases to reach your room. The bathroom is very small and can feel cramped especially for grown men. The rooms are small (but this is true for most hotel rooms in Paris), for our twin room (for two people) we can fit two full size suit cases (opened) on the the floor with the lid against the wall which is acceptable for us. We booked two rooms one for double occupancy and one for single occupancy; the single occupancy is really quite small so if you are bigger/taller; you may need to book their bigger room.

The Location of the Hotel is really close to the Train/metro station (5-8 mins) depending on whether you are dragging luggage with you or not. The staff at the breakfast room was super friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The rooms are relatively clean and the beds are not too hard or soft with two pillows provided for each guest. You can see the streets from your window. The hotel is located in a somewhat safe area in Paris, we felt safe to walk around even at night.
