Everyday we had to ask for toilet paper and we did not get any clean towels throughout the week. When we asked them they said that we can get that only on specific days (Thursday and Mondays) but since we asked on Friday it was already too late for us. They did not mention this at the check-in.

Small room but equipped with the necessary to eat and cook for some days. The bed was quite confortable and the room was silent. It's very easy to get to city centre by tram.

The location isn't very central and I had an hours' walk from the bus station; the small kitchenette is not fully equipped. Although 24 hours' check-in is available, I had to rouse someone to gain access to the building. There didn't seem to be much in the way of amenities within the immediate vicinity, although I have to admit not checking thoroughly at 3am!

For me, the main attraction of Appartea Alpexpo was the 24-hours' check-in, as I was arriving in Grenoble at 2am. On arrival, I found the staff friendly and the apartment itself was clean. There is a lift to access upper floors (my apartment was on the 7th) and an option of buffet breakfast (at a reasonable additional cost). It is served by public transport for those arriving at a more reasonable time, with a tram stop nearby.

The location is a bit off for a family stay in my opinion. It is possible but it is on the outside of Grenoble and the neighbourhood doesn't feel very good. Nothing happened though. The room was very simple

My room was not cleaned once and we stayed 4nights had to go my own toilet paper and extra towels and when asked if clenaing crew could do the room I was told that they were not available and that I could borrow a vacuum. I was surprised but I suppose you get what you pay for … they had a nice breakfast display but not enough food for the guests couple of the times there was no bread nor croissant/pastries left. Had breakfast else where while it was suppose to be included.

Very outdated bathroom wihout separate shower, the kitchen hob has no power enough to boil water, no smart TV (you cannot connect your laptop or mobile to watch Netflix). There isn't much light in the room. Also, animals are permitted in the rooms. The nights I was there, a big dog was regularly barking from inside one of the rooms in the corridor.

Good price, clean, easy check-in & out, close to a mall and the tram.

All the cars in the parking behind the hotel were broken by someone to steal inside. I have the feeling that that was not the first time but no one warned us. The staff did not help in any way. Plus, the room was strongly smelling of sigarets.

It smelled like mould and cigarette smoke in all the rooms I was offered. Ended up choosing the least stinky one but still it was stinky. There was mouldy food in the fridge too.. Makes you wonder if the space is ever cleaned.

Not much. I guess it did its job for the night providing a bed but that’s about it.
