The Number 15 guesthouse is a beautifully renovated French country house. The house and its furniture make you feel like you are really in good old France. There is a beautiful back garden and terrace, where you can spend the evenings in the shade of tall trees, after a long visit to Carcassonne (baked by the sun in August). The old town is an easy 20 minute walk from the guesthouse. - There was a good French-style breakfast, including some fresh fruit from the garden. - Andrew, our host, would not only explain how to get to the old town and where to eat dinner, but also explained lots of things (on request) regarding house renovation and gardening in the southern climate. We were especially fascinated by his natural ecological method of keeping the mosquitos away, without any chemicals. This innovative idea alone would have made the visit worthwhile.

Lovely comfortable room over looking the garden. Space to sit. Garden was a good place to sit in the shade and, in the evenings in peace and quiet. Friendly helpful host. Good breakfast.

Karen and Andrew were extremely helpful, went above and beyond as we had a problem during our stay and they were superb.

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle but a short walk to all the new town action. From there a short walk to the old city. Nicely renovated and comfortable accommodation. Good continental breakfast. Great hosts, very friendly and informative. We got garage parking for our motorcycle (not big enough for a car). Lovely back yard garden to sit and relax. Carcassonne is a great place to visit.

A bit of a walk from the main town and attractions.

Breakfast was lovely and the property was in easy walking distance of the centre with restaurants and bars.

The property was easy to find and had parking outside. You could walk into town in 15 minutes and to the Cite in 40 minutes. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and so helpful in giving local information. The room was spotless, large and comfortable.

This is fabulous place to stay with wonderful hosts. Our up stairs bedroom, bathroom, sitting area was large, open and fresh. Beautiful decor enhanced this B&B. The downstairs dining area with individual tables suited us as did access to the small fridge. We were lucky to secure free street parking outside the apartment.

Being both over 77 , carrying our cases up the stairs would be a problem but our host Andrew provided this service for us. Thank you for that.

Our hosts Karen and Andrew were exceptionally warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The house and room were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We loved everything and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Really beautifully renovated house with garden on quiet street. Large room with exceptional bathroom, beautiful old furniture. The hosts nice and helpful, the breakfast a delight.
