“Exactly as you would expect from a Mercure hotel. Room good size, immaculately clean, comfortable but the bed was lower than one would normally expect - doesn't affect comfort but maybe not the easiest to get out of. Break fast very good selection. We had dinner in restaurant first night nothing bad about it but quite expensive. Second night we ate in the bar and we found the food not only cheaper but better - it depends how much you want to eat. Desserts were ice cream or sorbet in a cinema tub. Risotto and Beef Bourgignon both excellent. Hotel is right in centre of town so easy to have a wander and one or two areas of real interest. I would recommend the hotel and will certainly be going back. Great if you have crossed on tunnel and want somewhere near to drive to.”
