“Absolutely great! It's clean and cosy, and it's in a very quiet location on the wine route. The breakfast was wonderful (plentiful and made with homemade products). The owners were excellent communicators, open and friendly, and always willing to advise or recommend places to see or visit in the area. It was a pleasure to chat with them!”
“We absolutely loved that these rooms are above a working winemakers and were lucky enough to be there on the first day of the wine harvest. So it was hectic when ten of us arrived with our bicycles in the midst of them bringing in crates of grapes and filling the presses but it was wonderful to see it all happen and they were incredibly gracious in accommodating us in amongst the busyness. We had the chance to taste the wines and our hostess was great at explaining them. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was superb. St Hipployte is a gorgeous village.”

Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant exceeded expectations — while the menu was not extensive, the quality of the dishes, both in preparation and presentation, was exceptional, rivaling (and even surpassing) many Michelin-starred restaurants. Service was flawless, and the staff were warm and attentive. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, as we discovered this place by chance while looking for accommodation on the road.
