“Alexandra made us very welcome. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The grounds were lovely and the kids loved the pool. We tried a few of Alexandra’s recommended restaurants and they did not disappoint. Breakfast was delicious and included home baking everyday.”
“Very nice swimming pool, which pleasantly cooled us down after the long drive and before visiting the castle.
Charming landlady Alexandra supported us much and much - with dinner reservation to good place and with delicious sandwiches for breakfast on the next day, because we were leaving early.”
“Location ideal for our visit to Chenonceau (10 minutes drive). Fatima is superhost material…very friendly, helpful and discreet. Accommodation was very comfortable. Quirky, boutique-style decor. Lovely small outside garden area with a relaxing seating area where a simple and more-than-adequate continental breakfast is served. Out of five stars…? Six!”
“Don't think twice. Just book. Exceptional place, wonderful location, my room had river view, charming welcoming host(s), comfy bed and great breakfast. Highly recommend!”
“Quiet, comfortable appartment which was light and airy. Nicely decorated and a cute, sunny courtyard garden. Linda was super helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay!”
“We stopped at Moulin du Pont en route to the Dordogne and, although our stay was short, it was thoroughly enjoyable. We arrived a little later than expected, but host, Alexandre, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even helping us book a meal in the nearby town.
The setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast was ample and tasty, and we really appreciated the peaceful location. It was also fascinating to see the old, now defunct mill that forms part of the property — a lovely historical touch.
The swimming pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have time to enjoy it on this visit. We would not hesitate to return and hope to stay longer next time.”
