    “The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Mirepoix, minutes walk from the shops, cafes and cathedral. There is plenty of free parking nearby, although beware the Monday market parking closures which affect parking nearest to the hotel, and could lead to a towaway to Pammiers, which could really spoil your holiday. Thankfully the hotel warned me about this in plenty of time to move my car. I was staying during a heatwave and the air conditioning was an absolute god send. I slept really well in the comfortable bed with its crisp white bed linen. The bathroom had a bath and powerful shower and plenty of clean towels. It may not be to everyone's taste but I really liked the vintage 1970s vibe of the hotel's decor and furniture. It's also very good value for money. I didn't eat there as I was hanging out with friends staying elsewhere but there is a vibey courtyard where you can have drinks and play boules. The midday checkout is very welcome.”

    “Clean, comfortable apartment with everything you could need day to day. Beautifully decorated, peaceful and in a lovely location only a short stroll (literally across the street) from the main square. The pool is such a bonus on hot sunny days for a dip. The terrace is great for outdoor dining or just sitting and relaxing with a book. There is a supermarket down the road, plenty of restaurants including the owners which has a delicious lunch and dinner menu. There is a bakery, cheese shop and fish shop across the street. Ideal location for a chilled holiday with the family. Would highly recommend.”

    “Marvellous conversion in the owner’s land. Stunning views and very secluded. Everything you needed was there and the hosts were a delight. We spent a wonderful evening chatting with them and enjoying the views of the valley and the Pyrenees. Thoroughly recommend and we’ll try to go back when we can.”
