“Danielle and Jacques were the perfect hosts for our stay in Lapoutroie. If you are after an oasis in Alsace you can’t go wrong. The apartment was large, cosy, clean and well priced. We could even charge our electric car overnight within the parking space.”

  • “Quiet village not far from Colmar”

  • “In the middle of the village and perfectly comfortable. Good food.”

  • Au fil de l'eau Review score: 9.7

“Great location, easy access to visit Alsace’s attractions. Very nice house, equipped with everything we needed.”

  • “The view”

  • “Breakfast was excellent and they opened early because of the gem show which helped us a lot”

  • Le Bouton d'Or Review score: 8.8

“We chose this one for it's location which is at the end of a dead end, single track road that zig zags up a hillside. This gives great views across the mountains and also offers a peaceful rest. The food in the restaurant was really nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife particularly enjoyed the fresh bread at breakfast which we ate outside on the terrace looking across a valley at the aforementioned mountains. There were saunas and a hot tub available but I can't really comment as we didn't use them. The bedroom was small but perfectly adequate and we didn't hear anyone else during our stay. We would happily come here again.”

  • “Host is amazing. The restaurant is very good and really advice to have dinner with open terrace and nice weather. Some facilities were not accessible as under renovation. If you have electric car dont worry .. they were installing new charging points in the parking. Breakfast is also quite good !!”

  • Au fil de l'eau Review score: 9.7

“Large two storey modern "lodge" in a quiet location which easily accomodated three of us. The main downstairs room was very spacious and comfortable and the cooking facilities were first rate. Both bedrooms on the first floor were also large, if slightly spartan in design, and the bathroom was also well equipped. Particularly welcome was the large outside terrace which was well furnished. Overall a good choice, particularly for families, in the Vosges not far from Kaysersberg.”
