The food was excellent, and the room was spotless: clean, comfortable, with everything we needed, including air conditioning. “Lovely renovated cottage in country setting with exposed beams, stone walls, wooden staircase and stable door. It maintains the atmosphere of an old building but has modern and comfortable kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage. We had dinner there one evening, it was great and good value for money. Location about 20 mins drive from Carcassonne and 10 mins from stunning Cabrespine caves. You do need a car. Alex suggested a one-day driving tour route which we enjoyed. Owners charming and helpful.”
