“The welcome of the host was most appreciated. She was very patient of me trying to speak French rather than revert to English and helped me along the way. The building has character and charm and is in a very quiet location. Although there is no restaurant there is one at Ambialet, around a mile away, plus a very good cafe which stayed open until after 20.00 and served a wide variety of meals. There was a secure place to leave my bike overnight. Very peaceful and quiet and right on the bank of the River Tarn.
It should be noted that location of the property is at la Condomine, a tiny hamlet and not in Ambialet itself. I was given directions by the aforementioned cafe which was a huge help, especially at the end of a long day. It is less than a mile away from Ambialet but not obvious.”
