The instructions for using the fireplace were a little confusing (in english). The TV doesn’t work as a smart TV, doesn’t stay connected to the internet. Complicated to connect with the tv (casting) - we used it for music, otherwise you don t need a tv when you have those windows :)

Beautiful cozy cabin with beautiful big windows that lets you immerse in the nature around you while sitting comfortable by the fireplace. Amazing views at sunrise and sunset. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying true winter! There were written instructions for everything in the cabin which was very helpful. Kitchen has everything you need (including coffee and tea, sugar, spices, vinegar, oil). Perfect winter getaway! Would come back any time

Good location, short drive to Northern Lights Village where we had booked lots of activities and short drive to lots of restaurants. Small but cosy, had everything we needed and was perfect for our 2 night stay in the area.

Couldn’t get the tv to work but that’s more than likely my fault

This property was a dream come true. In every way. So beautiful and picturesque with all the facilities you could possibly need. So warm and cosy. Has a drying cupboard to dry all wet clothes, a sauna for a bit of relaxation in the evenings and an amazing downhill driveway perfect for the kids sledding down. There’s nothing I would change.

The master bedroom really needs a double bed, more logs for the fire would have been nice or the opportunity to chop your own in the terrace outside. Better instructions for accessing smart tv facilities as there were no English channels available for the children to watch.

Great location, absolutely stunning scenery and lovely local walks. Very good facilities, clean and well kept. The sauna & log fire were excellent. Great facilities for washing & drying kits and layers too.

The oven takes a while to heat as it's a conventional oven so not fan assisted, and we ate in the cabin, a few of the nights.

The Villa was perfect for our family trip. It was in a nice quiet location approximately 3kms from Saariselka. I would highly recommend this location, if you plan on using car hire. Instructions were clear for using heating system, WiFi and sauna. It was very clean. Will definitely be coming back again for a return visit if the accommodation is available. Great value for money.

The house uses water heater. The water become cold after long time using when bathing. But couldn't ask for more in a place near forest.

The view is great, reindeers wander nearby. Quite place, got several neighbors. Facilities are in good shape. Host is very nice and respond even at night. Price is good, value for money.

We can't really say anything negative. We couldn't use the TV because the settings didn't work. But we didn't miss it at all. The only thing we actually missed sometimes was a tea towel ;)

We had a wonderful view outside. The connection was very good. We also had the opportunity to see the northern lights here. We felt very comfortable.

The villa is clean, equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen , clean towels were provided , it was warm , comfortable, there is a supermarket couple of min away which was very handy . Unlike most places in Finland you won’t need to pay additional for bed linen and there are no hidden costs. There is a sauna inside and a fireplace . Very quiet and tranquil place . Sergei , the owner, was always very quick to answer any questions we had .

Having a nicely furnished house for ourselves with a nice view to the surrounding forest was a great way to experience Saariselkä. The sauna was a cherry on the cake. The village is really close by car for activities.

This place is magic. accomodation is REALLY good, especially compared with other places in the area, one of the best places we stayed in. You get beautiful sunsets, snow days and most special for us:GREAT AURORA VIEW. We arrived earlier than expected and we could check in already so that made our start super easy.

Room a bit small

Host was very helpful and friendly. He showed up when we have a hot water issue in the house. Washing machine and dry cleaning machine was a great help during our trip.

The property is not well signed. It took us a while to see which house it was. There is also a price difference between 4 and 5 guests and no extra bed is offered. In the description, a sofa bed is offered for the 5th guest but its just a regular sofa with no duvet for it, so prepare to freeze during the night. The rest of the beds werent ready either, we had to do our beds upon our arrival. No private parking is offered either, you have to park outside
