From the initial booking to the checking out, we had a fantastic experience dealing with the host Rauno and his lovely apartment. Rauno met us when we arrived at the apartment, which was late and he kindly offered to bring us to a late open supermarket to grab a few thing to get us started the next morning. The apartment is in a fantastic location only 400-500 meters to the main streets in the city, with all the tour pick up points in short walking distance. The apartment is so large and spacious with all three bedrooms very comfortable. The kitchen living space and dining area is all really well equipped with everything you could need. All contact I had with Rauno was very easy and he quickly responded, he very kindly gave us all the information about the area which was very interesting. If I or any friends were to visit Rovanemni again i will be highly recommending this apartment.

The apartment is in the Town and near to everything. Grocery , Mall, Taxi , Bus and site seeing place like Arktikum . Everything just walking distance. the house fully equipment with kicthen and all the utensil. washing Machine , & heater . the room is comfortable. Come with extra blanket too! We really enjoy staying here . Rauno The owner is so Lovely and so nice. He is very helpful and offer us to buy grocery For Our breakfast the next day. He even get us “Halal Chicken” from asian Market . So Nice of him . We glad that we stay in his apartment. He keep respond to us when ever we need him . He even came to the house when i dont know How to turn on the heater 😅 at night . How responsible he is . He did bring us to aurora secret place near the apartment 😄. If i could give 5 / 5 star For the apartment , i will give him a 100 / 5 stars for him ⭐️. He also introduce us to local farm to visit reindeer and they come and pick us up in the apartment .

this is one of the best apartment i stayed during my vacation. The owner is very friendly and provide a lot of information to me before the trip. He also taken initiative to provide more plastic sledge to us as we travel with 6 kids.

Absolutely amazing stay Host was so helpful and even left a small gift for the kids in our family aswell as an Xmas Tree do decorate such a kind touch. Apartment is fantastic so warm and cosy so spacious, so cosy to come home to after a day in snow, so much space so not to drag wet boots in inside, honestly best apartments I've ever stayed as a family of 7 Sooooo many facilities and location is a 2 minute walk from town I'd recommend this apartment to anyone going to Lapland such a gem

Overall, the benefit / cost ratio does not fit from our perspective. Though the appartement is spacy (3 bedrooms with an open living/eating room) the furniture, blinds, kitchen equipment, etc. is very basic and makes a quite used/old impression. For that price we would have expected more comfort. Few examples: WIFI collapsed each time the PS4 was used. After a while we realized this pattern. You need to reset the WIFI each time. There are no TV channels in German or English. In these days it would have been just nice to follow the News a bit also on TV. Coffee machine is a very basic "filter" machine. For cost of the appartement for instance a Nespresso or any other capsule machine would have been just nice. Bed linen and pillows are very basic. We were not even sure whether it would be warm enough for us and slept first nights with an additional blanket. Sofa (in the living room) is just old and not comfortable anymore. At the dishwasher worked only one program - not possible to adjust it and the sink in the kitchen was not able to shut. It is incorrect (as included in the description) that transport to / from airport is included. It cost about 35 - 40 EUR and you must pay yourself. You have to ask for use of Sauna (which is in the cellar of another part of the building) a day before so that the host can organize that it gets heated. Theoretically fine - in our case apparently someone switched off the Sauna and it was not heated as requested. Again: Overall, not bad - the location, cleanliness and space is really nice. But for nearly 500 EUR per day, we would have expected more. Certainly, too expensive and not matching a 4-star rating. Bigger renewals for a more modern equipment would be very much needed from our perspective.

We spent one week in this apartment in March 2025 with family. Clean and spacy apartment. Very close to the centre of Rovaniemi, supermarkets, and the Arcticum (museum). The host (Rauno) is very attentive and always approachable by WhatsApp. Eager to find solutions whenever there are issues. Parking lot is next to the house.
