How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We had a great experience staying at this centrally located apartment. The hostess was absolutely lovely - she met us in person, gave us the keys, and explained everything we needed to know about the flat. The apartment itself was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the private sauna was a fantastic bonus. There were many thoughtful details throughout that made our stay extra pleasant. Highly recommended!

Adorable flat, we wish we could stay forever here! Beautiful view, super clean, very helpful hostess replying to our questions promptly, loved the sauna, a complete flat with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, hot water and finally, it was perfect for staying warm when so cold outside :)

While the apartment had a washer/dryer, no iron and ironing board was provided.
Apartment was well equipped and had a Sauna. There were even board games provided. Good location in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of town central.

Curtains could be a little bit thicker, it would help people who are not used to the very long summer days and the therefore bright rooms to sleep better :)
Very well located appartment in a quiet building, easy to access. Very clean and well equipped. Friendly and responsive host.

The host Ilona met us at the agreed time and her hospitality was fantastic. We were show around the apartment and how to use all the facilities. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and modern and located right next to the heart of town, one block away from the walking street. The bed was really comfortable and the sauna was brilliant after a couple of days hiking. Parking was complimentary. We couldn’t have been happier, and would definitely stay here again

The apartment is aesthetically beautiful. The host Ilona extended a warm welcome and explained in detail every little thing in the apartment. Located at the prime location, the apartment was cozy, extremely clean, with an added advantage of the in-house sauna.

The unit was large and very comfortable and the location was excellent , being so close to the town centre and also close to the pick up points for various activities . The unit is on the 5th floor and the lift only goes to the 4th floor . Thus you need to carry the suitcases up a flight of stairs . This was not a problem for us though .

A very nice apartment in an ideal location. Close to tour operators, bus stops, shops and the centre of town. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment was very clean and well appointed.

Near to stores, supermarkets, malls, restaurants & railway stations. The place is big enough & complete, i have everything i need, feels like home. Near to Santa Claus Village, by bus only 20 minutes. Thanks for the owner, very friendly, kind & explain what we need to know.

The toilet, shower and washing machine were all crammed in together-closet sized The toilet was half in the shower and got wet everytime you showered.

Clean, suitable for 3/4 people. The most comfortable bed I have slept in and we travel quite often! (Living room double) Excellent location. Met on arrival by host who explained areas within apartment and was approachable had we needed her.
