Excellent location near the bus stop, shops and hiking/biking routes. We were happy to discover a small beach to swim nearby. Very quite and calm - reindeers walking around.

Perfect stay at perfect location. It was our second stay here and we loved it. A quiet place close to everything. It's a bit longer to walk to the new supermarket but the cross country ski lane right behind the house is just perfect!

This is the third time we have stayed and we love coming back to this property. It's clean, warm, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a short break away. The location is great and we saw the northern lights from just outside our door twice during our stay. Very easy to check in using the lockbox code provided in advance.

No dislikes, it’s an absolutely stunning cabin and exactly what I envisaged when planning our trip to Saariselka. If we could make one request it would be to have Netflix on the TVs for a family movie night, but we spent most of our time playing in the snow anyway!

Keys were right outside the door in a lockbox - super convenient!

Only downside is wish we had one or 2 places to store our food etc as every draw was full and had nowhere to keep things but that’s because it had everything. Maybe metal rack something I could have used for bread cereal etc. It did feel a little too lived in by owners but it was great and honestly would go back tomorrow.

It had everything you needed even sledges. Lovely and warm amazing amount of bathrooms. Drying cupboard sauna honestly will not regret

The place where you pick up the key is about 10 minutes walk from the cabin and this door is always locked and there is nobody there. You need a code to get in and pick up the key. It would have been more convenient if we had known the code upfront as upon arrival it was -27 and I had to take of my gloves outside to dial a number before getting the code to open the door. The cabin itself was hard to find and walking for 15Minutes with heavy suitcases at -27 trying to find the way is a bad start. By the time we got there, my hands were so cold I couldn't open the door anymore.

The communication with the owners is easy and fast. The cabin itself is magnificent. It's super equipped with three toilets, 2 bathroom and a full blown sauna room with double shower, the decoration is tasteful, cosy and the underfloor heating is lovely. The drying cabinet is such a lovely feature when you come with children who love to play in the snow and then have wet clothes. The view is great and the location greater. We walked to the ski resort, to the national park, to the pub, the bowling and to the supermarket. You don't even need transport here! And we did all this at -20 and colder. I can strongly recommend this place and will certainly be back as soon as I can!

This cosy cabin is located directly at the cross country slopes, 500 m from the supermarket. You find all you need in the kitchen. The two bedrooms are perfect. We loved it and will come again.

Having to pay for bed linen and towels, thought this was a bit strange as I’ve never had to pay for these before! I’d rather this was just added to the overall cost rather than a separate email exchange asking if I want to pay the surcharge or bring my own linen etc

Lovely apartment - really spacious and comfortable. WiFi is really fast - I was working for part of our stay and was able to sustain video calls with no problem. Great location in the village, within short walking distance of bus stops and supermarket. We would love to stay again next year.

We stayed a week and it was perfect! Very close to the city center and to the Ski Resort.

There's a street light right outside the bedroom window, which means even with all the blinds closed the room never gets completely dark. It wasn't a problem for us but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring an eye mask.

A beautiful apartment in a great location in Saariselkä, within easy walking distance of the supermarket and restaurants. Although we arrived around 11pm at night, check-in instructions were easy to follow and we found the property without any problems. Inside it was warm, comfortable and more spacious than we had expected. Wi-Fi was super fast and the kitchen was well-equipped for self catering. We saw the northern lights while taking out the rubbish on our final evening!

Basics like linen and toilet paper not included and you need to make your own beds. More like a summer camp than an expensive luxury cabin. Soured the atmosphere a little. Also the linen ($50 for for sheet set, 1 pillow slip each and 1 towel and hand towel- no sauna towel) needed to be paid for 3 months in advance and couldn’t be paid by card. The transaction wasn’t monitored, as requested, and then we were hassled to provide proof of payment again 2 days before we arrived. And $50 to wash one load of washing? Seriously? Why not just raise your prices and make it easier for your guests. Spoiled an otherwise nice stay. Also a few English labels on switches to identify what couldn’t be touched would have helped.

A very comfortable cabin. Warm, quiet, spacious and lovely having a beautiful sauna and fire. Well equipped kitchen and a generous load of wood for the fire.
