If there were people, it wouldn't be so comfy: - no small lamps. only one big light. beware if you're light sensitive - no curtains or any other privacy means. no lockers either, at least none that I've seen - squeaky bunk beds. Sometimes I would get a bit startled when I moved during the night and the bed would make a horrific noise

Too thin partitions between rooms. You can hear your neighbours so well. There is no storage space for personal belongings at all. You get just bed and nothing else.

It is some kind of dormitory for sportsmen so hence don't expect much. It is pretty basic but clean and functional. There's a kitchen with utensils and living room space with games, TV, books, etc.

The bathroom and toilet were not clean. For example the toilet outside our room (toilet/shower) there was a dead spider at the corner which looked like it had been there dead for a while. My daughter was afraid of getting in because of the big black spider. The toilet was not so bad but a certain smell lingered inside. Like some piping problem. Was really avoiding to use it. Luckily there are several other toilets to use. Otherwise it was a positive thing to have for every other room, a toilet and a (separate) bathroom inkl. toilet available. This is a great plus point for the facility.

The staff was kind and helpful. The idea of the kitchen is an excellent idea especially since we were several families with children and only breakfast was offered. The location is excellent with the local bus although it comes once an hour. From the facility, you can walk to the school centre in less than 10 minutes. Buses 2-3-4 drive by the facility too. A bus stop is directly opposite the place.

Room a little damp as heating wasn’t turned on. TV reception didn’t get main YLE tv chanels TV 1,2 and Teema Another armchair in our room would have been good and a wardrobe or drawers for clothes

We had one breakfast and it was good. After that we made our own breakfast. It was peaceful. The sports centre next door was excellent. It was spacious. Good location. Friendly staff. Clean, We were using our bikes but bus stop was nearby and easy to use

Not a lot of showers and toilets, fortunately we were very few. Clean enough in general but there was what looked like mice poop on the floor and stains on the bed sheets and covers.

Nice hostel, easily accessible by bus from Mariehamn. The staff was very nice and helpful, could rent a bike for 24h. Unfortunately the pool and other facilities are closed in July for maintenance and cleaning.

Nothing I didn't like about the place. It's close to the road, I maybe would have liked it to be more in the forrest and closer to the lake/sea (but this way it was very easy with the bus! busstop is right next to the accommodation)

I loved this place! I was the only one in the dorm room (late September), which I liked. They allowed me to check in early because there was no one sleeping and they already cleaned. I didn't realise I would not only get bedding but also a towel, very nice!

The room I was in had 20 beds (even though we were actually only 2) but no cabinet or place to put stuff away, everything had to be on the floor or on a chair if you find one

Very nice surroundings, and very easy to reach by bus. Very practical, the kitchen has several appliances available and even board games.
