The property was very nice. We had two issues to recommend. The first is the confusion of checking into the property. It is an old building with multiple floors and multiple hotels/hostels in the building. Woohoo main desk is on the 4th floor, but everything directed us to the 3rd floor. We had to help a young couple during our stay as well. The other item was fire safety. There seemed to be only one way out of the building for us - the main spiral staircase in the middle of the building. This could be a potential problem if the fire was in the center of the building.

We liked the location and the staff. Laura (originally from Cuba) was on duty when we wanted guidance on traveling to the right train station. She was wonderful. We followed her directions and things went extremely smoothly.

It was a relatively smaller hotel room, but more than enough space for us. The location was in a very busy, touristy part of town, which was perfect for our first trip, but we may stay in a less busy area next time—the room was very quiet nonetheless. No view from our room, the windows faced internally, but we preferred the quiet so we'll take it. It really was a wonderful property overall!

Great locations for first time visitors to Madrid. Good value. Wonderful attentive staff. Clean room with a big bed and great shower. Air conditioning was great. Very quiet.

Bad smell from the drain every time we returned to the room. Everything was clean but the smell was still there. Not a complaint but worth mentioning when booking: it’s on the third floor, the lift looked very old fashioned and small so we didn’t use it, the stairs are uneven and not very well lit. There is no view from room 4 other than into other windows/ rooms, so very limited day light

When we arrived, they didn't explain that the comforter for the bed was under the 'lift up' mattress. We even reached under the bed, but didn't find it. The reception desk is not constantly staffed, so no one was there when we were going to bed. We let the reception know the next day and luckily we were able to catch someone to get us a cover. The hotel is located in a building with other hotels (3rd floor). The elevator was only for one person at a time, and the stairs are a bit uneven. The elevator was out of service starting on our second day. (Not the hotel's fault, but a building issue.)

The hotel was very close to the main Sol square (busy at all hours!), but the room was quiet and had a roller shade to block additional noise. Easy to walk to many neighborhoods, or take the metro which was very close. Balcony was nice!

Unfortunately, the only lift broke on the day we arrived and was not fixed when we left. To get to the apartments, there are 3 x steep and uneven spiral staircases, this was a challenge to carry up our large suitcase, the less able may well find this too much.

Location is fantastic, the rooms are really clean, super modern and well equipped. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the Sol plaza and Metro station so super easy to get around.

I would like some more toiletries in the room - slippers maybe or body lotion - a dish in the room for microwave use! But all in all, My stay was really great! Nothing can beat the location and the comfortable rooms!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION first of all! Clean , quiet and comfortable rooms! Air condition new, empty fridge ( to fill it as you want from the supermarkets really at a 2-3 min walking distance) , kettle for making your coffee, hairdryer give more than added value to the room! Microwave at the common area another great value!! 100% I would like to go back again!

There’s no direct road entrance so if you need to get pick up for airport transportation better suggest to be pick up at the near by McDonald instead

The lift in the building is slow and small.

Excellent location, just a few steps away from metro Sol station and shopping streets. The room is spacious enough for a group of 4 adults. Room is modern and comfortable beddings. Hotel staff is always available and responsive via Whatapps, if not in person.

The sound isolation is not good within the building. If you value your privacy or really need silence then this room may not be for you.
