The breakfast was very fresh. The chef even made a fresh fruit drink/compote for us. The location is a bit out of the way, but a great place to disconnect and relax. Has a pool hot tub for relaxing. Could take walks on the grounds, expansive views. Can also see a bit of wildlife. A great way to wind down after being in the city. The Cardona community is a short drive to get needs or a dinner out. But hotel had an excellent restaurant as well.

The dinner menu was somewhat limited, and while the quality was fine it was by no means outstanding for the money. The way the televisions are situated meant that the neighbors’ tv was directly against the headboard of our bed, which was rather loud in the evening. In the morning the breakfast was apparently prepared by a blind rhinoceros in the kitchen adjacent to our room - I joke, but the banging around in the kitchen was quite loud in our room.

A lovely location set among fields and hills. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. There were deer in the meadows in the evening, and a fox came to visit the terrace one breakfast.

A small issue was the possible lack of privacy in our room if there had been guests who chose to sit outside. The room has no curtains just two blinds. An additional semi transparent light curtain would help to give a better feeling of privacy. In a ground floor room ,unless you put a blind down during the day, anyone walking past can see in. On this occasion it wasn't a big problem.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was medium sized and comfortable. There was an outside sitting area for the room although we didn't use it. We had such an enjoyable dinner, excellent quality food, in a nice ambience, which encouraged us to finish with coffees and brandy in the sitting area. Whilst eating a fox came up onto the window sill and peered in! We also had seen deer whilst out for an evening walk. We loved the rural setting of this relatively small hotel. Breakfast was also enjoyable, though not self service.

Our bed could have been more comfortable, probably needing a new mattress, and the breakfast offering could have been better on our 2nd day, there wasn't so much on offer as it appeared we were the last couple in the hotel.

Amazing hotel in an amazing setting, nice restaurant and lovely outdoor space with pool. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately there is a fair bit of noise transmission between rooms. Everybody was quiet fairly early so was not an issue, but might be.

This was a gorgeous place out in the middle of the countryside. Very quiet location with an infinity pool. Food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Host was very friendly. Lovely areas to sit outside.

Peaceful, isolated location. Easy access to the mountains. Fine restaurant with great food. Nice pool. The staff did their best to make me feel welcome. This was the third time I have stayed here and the standards is the same.

There is a language barrier with some of the staff that led to some confusion w.r.t. the dinner (which wasn't served anymore although I asked) and the check-in process (where although I asked to be charged at check-in they haven't done so).

Great setting in a somewhat remote place. Although the weather wasn't great, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was great.

It is such a peaceful place. The host and staff were very nice and thoughtful. Additionally, the food was exceptional and they did adapt it as I am vegetarian. It's close to the Cardona salt mines and not too far from the closest town. Wifi works also perfectly if you have to use it. On our last day, we got to spot a deer that was just wandering around. Would love to come back to stay at this place. Thank you!

Nothing, for real it was an amazing experience that I would repeat for sure in summer to try the swiming pool. Nothing wrong at all with the hotel.

Everything was good. The location in the middle of the fields, the breakfast ready for you at 10 am. The bed was amazing, the toilett super confortable. Everything great.

No complaints, except….we had a room on the lower floor (due to my mobility problems since the hotel doesn’t have a lift). However the rooms at this level do not have ‘private balconies and terraces’ as advertised. The privacy of the room is impaired by other guests walking across the ‘terrace’ and who are free to look in the room - meaning we had to keep the blinds down for privacy. I think the hotel should consider ways of making this more private, and change the description.

Excellent place to disconnect and get away from it all and explore this very empty but fascinating corner of Catalunya. The hotel is comfortable and very isolated…exactly what we were looking for. Although there is very little in the area the hotel offers a drinks and snack service - and will serve you by the pool - and has an excellent restaurant with a fixed price menu with excellent food - so everything you need is there. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The windows had no screens and our porch was used as a walkway by other guests. The heating fan did not work in the room. The bed was squeeky.

Airconditioning was not working, a fan was available, but very noisy. That means sleeping with all windows and doors open. Room was also not clean. Pool area very dirty and dusty. Pool has not been cleaned for weeks. They need to give more attention to the hotel and pool area ( flowers/plants)
