Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Villa was in a quiet residential area but only a 10/15 walk to the old town with lots of restaurants and shops. Small stony beach a 2 min walk.

- Lots of mosquitoes, especially at the front of the property. We all got bites, so lots of strong repellent needed - The beds were quite hard - Found a few ants on the bed during a couple of nights (room without a bathroom) - and didn’t have food/drinks in the room so not sure where they came from - Extra deposit required for pool towels when you already pay a 300EUR deposit - slightly annoying as you have loads of euros left over at the end of your stay - 70 EUR extra for A/C for the week :( - would rather this be included in the price
+ Victoria met us on arrival and was very responsive to any queries. + Beers and water were provided. - nice touch! Thank you :) + The villa was clean and spacious and in a great location within 15mins walking distance to the old town. + The outside area was fabulous and much bigger than it looked on the photos. + The pool was perfect and there were lots of areas to sunbathe, dine and stay in the shade if needed. + The AC worked well and we used it mainly overnight in the bedrooms Taxi into new town approx 10 EUR via Mallorcab app.

The villa was incredible. Every room was lovely and the communal areas were so thought out for having 8 guests staying. A very well equipped kitchen with extras of coffee, tea and sauces. The pool was amazing and the inflatables added to the fun during our stay. The outside area is very spacious, with plenty of seating and gave us plenty of places to enjoy meals. Our group absolutely loved our stay at the villa and would highly recommend.

Just a couple of things are outdated only minor like the kettle and toaster.
It had everything for an excellent holiday. The location is fantastic for shopping and eating out.

It would have been nice to find a bottle of water when we arrived, the fridge was empty, and we had to go to the supermarket straight away If the property has a pool, I believe they should offer beach towel to the guests to use during their stay Considering we didn’t know about that, and we had small suitcases, the 6 of us had to buy beach towels.
The property was spotlessly clean, very quiet, lovely pool area, great attention to detail, great decor. It was 10 minutes walk from Alcudia, a wonderful village full of restaurants and coffee shops. Vittoria was a wonderful host.

Nothing really was bad, the only advice we have is to renew the poolbeds in the future. But overall everything was perfect!
What we liked the most was the peacefull surrounding of the villa. Very near to beautifull Alcudia old town, 10 minutes walk. We loved the pool and inside+outside kitchen. We also liked the loungesets very much, very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in the villa. The day we arrived it was the birthday of our father. Victoria and Maria arranged a birthdaycake (and a bottle of cava) waiting for us in the fridge. Thanks a lot again for arranging this, we appreciate it a lot!

Beautiful Villa. Amazing pool and outside facilities. Loved the hammock. Rooms were great with each their own bathroom. Clean and had everything you need. Close to shops,restaurants and beach. Victoria and Maria were wonderful hosts Thanks for the most amazing holiday

The pool was very cold, but to be expected when travelling in April :-) no reflection at all on the villa just an observation, and like the sea, once you were in it you soon got used to it :-)
Absolutely amazing villa in a superb location, all the beds were really comfy and the living space was perfect for 4 adults an 8 year old and a very active 18 month old. The outside areas were again perfect, with a lovely area at the front of the villa away from the pool that my 18 month little boy loved exploring. The privacy around the pool is brilliant as is the size of the pool. It's just an all round brilliant villa

The villa was very spacious with areas for everyone to enjoy being together or having quiet time on their own. We all enjoyed the pool and the outside space. The villa was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Alcudia old town was a 10-15 minute walk away and was a lovely place to spend a few hours with its many restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and historical buildings.
