There should be more shading from the sun on the outside terrace upstairs for breakfast. And there are not enough shaded areas or umbrellas round the pool

It was pretty much all perfect. The only change I would make is adding a few more parasols by the pool.

The pool was a game changer. The setting is lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. The nods to Dalí were also good. They had parking and there isn’t much in the town.

The description of the room is not accurate. The room description on booking states: “Guests will have a special experience as this room offers a pool with a view and a fireplace.” It should state: “….this room offers a view of the sea and pool. There is a fireplace in the lounge.” The description makes it sound like EACH room has a fireplace and pool. There should be a distinction between the room the description and the overall hotel facilities’ description.

Location is unique with easy walking access to the city center and spectacular views of the Cadaques city, cove and iconic church.

Would have been good to have a couple of floor mats at the door going out onto our personal patio given the wet weather. Nothing else we could fault.

Beautiful view and comfortable room. Despite the rain (travelling in early March), we enjoyed every minute of our stay in Cadaques. The hotel has a fireplace in the lounge/dining room, which we enjoyed in the evenings. Very friendly, helpful staff, and a super clean property. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had something for everyone. Location was amazing, an easy work down to the foreshore, and minutes from the restaurants. The carpark is located at the hotel, and we appreciated being able to easily park our car during our stay. Highly recommend, and we will stay here again.

Disappointed that the kitchen was only operating for one evening of our stay. Ants nest behind the wall cladding in the room. Fortunately we had some ant killer with us which seemed to solve the problem.

We would have liked a more varied menu - some more vegetarian/pescatarian and gluten free options. Also perhaps the option of room service. We weren't sure if this was available as there was no information in the room. A kettle in the room would also be good - we did ask and were provided with one. The soundproofing between rooms is not great. We could hear the couple next door using the bathroom and in bed. The noise however overall was minimal and short-lived and I always travel with ear plugs, so it wasn't a big issue.

We stayed here for one night and loved it; I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms well appointed and bed very comfortable. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views of the church, town and sea. There is parking in a field directly next to the hotel and it is a short walk (5 to 10 min) into town. The hotel serves tapas for dinner. We tried a couple and they were good. I particularly liked the breakfast. It was all cold food but an excellent and varied selection of bread, pastries, cakes, cheese, ham, salmon, vegetables, fruit (super fresh and varied), cereals, potato frittata, coffee, juices etc. If you like a healthy breakfast then you'll love the freshness and variety. I had notified the hotel ahead of time that I was gluten free and they provided me with a GF baguette and two muffins for breakfast. The baguette needed to be heated for longer as it was very crumbly but the muffins were delicious!
