Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe furniture is outdated. The AC didn’t work properly maybe because old. It’s not a 4 stars’ standard place. The place needs some refurbishing.
We had a studio apartment. It was cleaned everyday and it did look clean. The furniture and overall look of the hotel is very old. Our room was on the side of the road and it was very noisy with the buses coming going the whole day/night. The windows didn’t close properly and didn’t do a good job at isolating noise. The kitchen didn’t have any pans, pots or cleaning kit. There were some plats, glasses and cutlery. There’s a fridge and microwave as well. Luckily, we didn’t have to do any cooking because it would not have been possible. The breakfast was good. They offer both sweet and savory options as well as fresh fruit and hot beverages. Also some cold drinks. The location is good if you have a car or intend to travel via bus. It’s close a main road which leads everywhere in case you intend to travel. The beach in Can Picafort is very windy and not the best.

PortugalAC in apartment didn’t work well. Mattresses in beds and sofa bed need upgrading. Had to ask the cleaning staff to clean beneath sofa bed properly as it was full of cob webs and a few spiders. Dinning room got rather busy at meal times - although staff is constantly clearing up and cleaning the tables for the next lot. Pool too crowded, plus few chairs available. Generally speaking it seemed to have too many guests for the capacity of the premises/size of the resort.
Great calm location just off the busy Alcudia-Can Picafort road. Although rather full when we went, the resort has a pleasant atmosphere with plenty of trees and shade all around. Very nice pavillion/dinning-room where the meals are served. Staff nice and helpful. All meals varied and tasty. Children’s pools nice with slides and activities. Plenty of staff maintaining the gardens/pool/dinning room. Really good for families. Classic resort but with a cosy and friendly touch to it. To repeat.

United KingdomThere wasn't any sunbed wars but you need to be on the ball in the morning if you want to bag them. They were all reserved within minutes of the pool area opening. You need to figure out which barpeople serve the 'good' cocktails! It's not near the good beach or town & it was roasting when we were there so didn't make it out & about but that says more about us than the hotel...you can get a taxi easily to go wherever.
The hotel is excellent and I really couldn't fault it. The setting and gardens are lovely and well maintained. The staff are friendly and relaxed, but not in your face. They are there to do their job, not be your best friend! They all work extremely hard. I thought the food was good, nice selection of dishes and I didn't find it repetitive like some other reviewers. Yes some of it is a bit weird, but give it a go..they cater for a range of international tastes. But if you like beige food only you won't starve! There's always plain pasta, chips and plain rice on offer. There are some bigger tables for larger groups in the restaurant and they weren't precious about us moving tables together in the outdoor areas. We had a couple of minor niggles with the room which were reported to reception and resolved immediately. There are some nice shady areas to sit but you'll need to move with the sun. I found the beds to be comfortable & the central aircon is fine in the rooms if you keep the curtains drawn and the doors shut. Theres no controls, it's just on, but we didn't wake up baltic in the night like at some places. On the whole I would highly recommend...perfect for families.

SwedenThe animation team was a major disappointment. They were disorganized, didn't provide enough information about activities, and couldn't engage the guests. If I had to pick one thing that really brought the hotel down, it would be the animation team. The coffee is far below par, the sweet/carbonated drinks are disappointing in flavor, and the alcoholic beverage included in the all-inclusive package is of questionable quality
The food was excellent and there was a wide variety to choose from. The pool was clean and big enough for everyone to swim comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep.

United KingdomWhile my stay at Vell Mari Resorts had many positive aspects, there were a couple of areas that fell short of my expectations. The food quality was not the best, as the cuts of meat were poor, leading me to rely on salad and chips for a satisfying meal. Additionally, the absence of a restaurant manager contributed to some disorganization and messiness in the dining hall during peak times. Furthermore, an external DJ music festival disrupted our sleep. Although this was beyond the hotel's control, it highlighted a weakness in the soundproofing of the rooms. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience at Vell Mari Resorts was enjoyable, but these issues are worth considering when planning a stay.
My experience at Vell Mari Resorts in Mallorca was fantastic. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a great AC system. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I also loved the beautiful pools and gardens on the property, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Vell Mari Resorts for a wonderful getaway.

EstoniaSome things could be improved like installing a laundry room (can be paid), some kitchenette stuff could ve been added, more video games (put some playstations for 5 eur/30 min).
Impressive territory, family friendly location and the animation team giving it all every evening for the kids. The funny thing that this property has a certain vibe that is difficult to explain. You either like it a lot despite a few issues and want to come back, or you’ll hate it.

United KingdomThis is purely personal taste, but I wasn't a big fan of the pool set-up. If it were bigger / maybe arranged differently it would have been better as I felt a little claustraphobic when lying around it. The location was a good 25 minute walk from the nearest nice beach where we could hang out and swim. In the heat this was a bit of a pain

LithuaniaThere are lizards and cockroaches in the rooms. When reporting this to the reception, they offered to spray it. Air conditioner not working and no information about it on arrival. When it's over 30 degrees, it's not nice to sleep with the windows open to the street and hear the noise from passing buses. When asking to change the room, some are offered options with air conditioning, others who came earlier are offered to wait. The rooms are dirty and sticky. Aldo, only soap in the rooms, no shampoo or hair conditioner. Room cards not working all the time and constantly going to reception to update cards. There were no dishes: pots, pans, although there was a kitchenette.
