Comfortable room. The hotel is located in a nice avenue with a park across the street, so plenty of parking and not a lot of traffic. Nice breakfast.

All fine. But be aware English isn’t widely understood. Some staff are Catalan speakers, others are Spanish. With Google Translate you can’t go wrong.

Quiet lakeside location but also a relaxing walk to the town centre with its ancient market place. And it’s cheap beer PLUS a nice swimming pool. The breakfast appeals to the British. There’s loads of Continental stuff but just ask for sausage, bacon and eggs.

The bathroom had a mouldy smell that needs to be fix it.

The hotel is located at 2 min walk from the lake. The room was clean, nicely decorated but small. Bed was comfortable. TV and wifi ok. There was a nice terrace facing the wet lands. We went in Winter so I do not know about AC issues. Heating was working well. The staff is friendly and kind. The breakfast was nice and with enough selection of foods.

I specifically booked this hotel as they had ‘secure bike storage’. Indeed they do but it is only secure if it is locked. Two mornings running I requested the key from reception only to find when I went to get our bikes out the door was wide open. The key had been handed back to reception but the door and padlock left wide open. This is not acceptable!! Checks need to be made. On this basis I will not rebook this hotel again. Mosquito central out the front, impossible to sit in your balcony or have the doors/windows open. Breakfast poor but acceptable. Walls thin, could hear the lady next door yawning!!

Great location, 2 min walk to the lake and 10 mins to centre of town. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy beds and nice balcony. Quiet location. Nice pool which was a bonus and cafe/bar open 7am to 9pm which local people also seem to use but isn’t at all noisy. Good on and off street parking.

For our odd purpose the room was a bit snug but unless you have body armour, knee braces, crash helmets and mx boots, you'll be grand.

Small room for 3 men with off road riding kit but for normal people, fine. Helpful and multilingual receptionist, pretty safe motorcycle parking.

Great location, lovely staff, nice bar, amazing breakfast - it was the first time I'd ever been to a hotel that supplied protein powder as part of the breakfast buffet! They also had secure, covered bike parking.

Good location, literally 2 mins walk from the lake, on a tree lined avenue. This should be a 3-star hotel. Good sized room, large bathroom, great shower, and large good quality towels. Excellent breakfast included, with freshly made omelette if wanted. We had a balcony. The bonus is the swimming pool. Parking immediately outside the hotel. Very friendly and informative receptionist.

The bed mattress ( with a mattress topper) was very unsupportive ie not firm enough to give adequate back support. I left with back pain, a problem I don't suffer with usually...

after check-in, we found the room was not clean ( ready) . we requested clean again. The staff is very friendly but a bit inexperienced in hotel management. and Beds are so unquality.

I would suggest adding more vegan-based/glucose-free products to the breakfast menu.

The closeness to the lake and the peaceful environment, surrounded by trees. Also, the staff was very supportive and friendly; lovely and clean rooms. I would certainly recommend this place.

What a find, everything about this hotel great, staff truly wonderful, great room, fab food especially breakfast, wonderful pool and Banyoles was one of our favourite towns in our 3 month stay in Girona area
