The bathroom is uncomfortable in many ways; the soap dispenser is at the oposite extreme of the shower head; alternatively, you can shower close to the dispenser but without availing of the shower screen. A mess. The hair drier and mirror lights did not work. The windows need some cleaning. Breakfast is way too expensive.

My only real complaint is the price. For what was offered, it felt a little too expensive.

This was a very strange hotel experience. When we arrived in mid-July, what you'd expect to be peak season the place felt oddly quiet, almost like it was closed. The restaurant wasn’t operating, bar was also closed and breakfast couldn’t be booked through Booking.com. However, you could still show up and pay €15 per person, which felt a bit off. That said, the front desk staff were really kind and helpful. There’s on-site parking, which is a plus, though the entrance is quite narrow but manageable with normal size cars. The absolute highlights were the location and the beautiful view from our room. It’s a shame the overall vibe didn’t match the potential of the setting.

The massage and spa are overpriced. In the evening, the cafeteria is serving only the very modest (but cheap) set menu and can't offer even the drinks and snacks (because they have one waiter and one cook which are obviously busy).

The location and the room which I was given are excellent. The view to the beach from the room is just superb.

The hotel restaurant only offered set price three course meals. We have a smaller appetite and were disappointed that we could not have the option of one course so we had to go and find our meals away from the hotel. The beach is full of plastic rubbish. I took bin bags from the hotel and filled them - the state of the beach and the risk to wildlife will put off visitors. All hotels need to band together and insist the local council cleans up the beach.

Great location, safe parking and enjoyable walks from the hotel, The hot stone massage was very good.

Fantastic views from the window and the location. Amazing and helpful staff. Talasoterapia was such a great discovery for us. The location is so strategic that you can catch all the popular hiking routes right next to the hotel. Also it was very clean.

The tenants are locked at the hotel after 10 pm and cannot go out, all doors are locked, and all the staff is gone which is a bit weird.

The location is gorgeous, right on the beach, close to the marvelous cliffs. This region itself is a pearl, worth all the efforts to visit. The room is just normal, but the bathroom is much better. Quiet place with pleasant warm weather in mid-March. The staff is very kind and helpful and mostly speaks English in contrast to the environment. Pretty resort town, stylish and authentic. Extremely clean! Lots of picturesque trails and beaches around. I would call this the Atlantic Switzerland.

The shower hose in the room was located towards the floor, so I had to hold it with my hand, which was very inconvenient. So, after using the hotel's well-equipped spa and jacuzzi, I used the shower there.

Staying in a hotel next to such a special and wonderful natural scenery is a great experience in my life. The large jacuzzi and spa are very nice. Although it's a great place to stay for a full holiday, the area is short on accommodation and expensive for many people walking Spain's famous Camino del Norte route. It's a burdensome price

We booked massages as we are walking the Camino and just about everything was tired and slightly hurting. But the masseur was inadequately trained, seemingly accustomed to light weight beauty massages. And I had to ask her to do my feet, which were very tired and sore and which she was going to skip without my request despite my mentioning them earlier.

The directions linked in booking.com are not accurate so it took a long time to find. I recommend search the hotel and get directions that way. The mattress in the room we stayed had a bit of “roll together”

I understand that being so close to the sea and having a thalassotherapy facility is a constant battle against the elements, but in my opinion some places of the hotel need a little bit more maintenance.

Perfect place, with unique views to the beach. Having a SPA in the same hotel is also nice. The food was good, especially the breakfast.

- The spa is extra and it wasn’t explained to us until we asked. - We stayed two nights and our room didn’t have toilet paper even after it was cleaned after the first night.

The best location in Zumaia. Comfortable rooms, nice front desk staff.
