Beautiful location an hour north of Bordeaux. Perfect for a stop over for us en route to Northern Spain. Great for our dogs, with large enclosed grounds and the owner’s dogs were lovely. Very friendly family run property and a very welcome swimming pool ! Supermarket and cheap fuel 10 minutes away towards the autoroute. We would definitely recommend.

Hot Water a bit chilly in the morning. The shower was in the bath which was fine for me but if you struggled with mobility you might struggle.

It was very convenient to the ferry in Santander 15 mins. It had good parking that was secure in the property, the facilities were good and the staff very friendly with good English. A really cute little stay on the verge of countryside that was very pleasant. Great breakfast. Would certainly stop again.

Guests coming in the middle of the night. Although quiet going upstairs we were kept awake for quite a while as they showered noisily and chatted in the room above. I guess this is to be expected so I’d take earplugs.

Dog friendly with parking and a lovely garden. Architect designed house adjoining a very old property. Interesting family artworks on display. Very comfortable and it didn’t feel like a hotel more like an immaculate hotel room in a beautiful house. Gorgeous beach with dunes nearby. Fabulous breakfast and we enjoyed meeting our interesting and attentive host. Would like to stay again for longer. Handy for the stopover for the Santander ferry.

The location is fabulous, a very quiet area so close to Santander, a great night's sleep and the breakfast was stupendous. the local tavern really nice and friendly.

Best breakfast ever in all stays, including a 5 star hotel in central Spain. Wonderful lounge area and garden, dogs welcomed and a very helpful English speaking host. Hard to imagine how to be improved.

2.5k hill walk to nearest bar/restaurant. Although to be fair it was good exercise for us and the dog and wasn't too bothersome for us. A closer bar for a quick drink would have been good.

Roberto and his family couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming to both myself and my large dog. It’s always a delight to find a place that delivers everything it says on “the tin!” Wonderful garden to chill in and a great location for both Santander and beautiful stretches of coast line. We will be back for sure!
