    Nothing

A very last minute booking in this lovely hotel in the center of Jerez, good service, lovely breakfast included even if I seemed to be up and about early enough to enjoy it! Room had a bath with jacuzzi option and small terrace to sit out in that I hadn’t expected, most importantly to me was good sound proofing, sat out on terrace can here all the local bars but with door shut didn’t here a peep!

Our stay would have been perfect but for the noise outside. Great location and I would still highly recommend the hotel.

Just getting the car to the car park which was a temporary problem due to road works.

Everything was good at the hotel. Staff, food, cleanliness and furnishings all excellent.

The rooms need a bit of an update but if that happened the price would have to go up so we were happy with it as it is!

Great price and a lovely breakfast. Warm rolls and croissants served at our table together with freshly squeezed orange juice

Room No 4 had an unfortunate smell upon arrival but once air freshener worked it seemed to disappear. Artwork in the hotel was very garish and an over abundance of dried flowers gave the entrance hall a very cluttered appearance. It could do with minimalising!

Central position in a quiet small square. Large room and huge bathroom. Good breakfast.

The lighting in bedroom 17 was inadequate. You could not see into the wardrobe after dark.

I liked its position in Jerez. Access to the centre was easy and it had its own parking. Food was excellent in the hotel but you dined alone!

Our bathroom could have done with some upgrading although the bedroom was more spacious than we expected.

This hotel was more elegant than the photos suggest and is in a good location for sightseeing. The receptionist was very helpful identifying any tours in English that might be available for our stay (we hadn't pre-booked a sherry tour). Car parking was provided to the rear of the property

A lot of stairs to the rooftop suite. My knees, not great at the best of times, took a pounding. Breakfast was nicely presented, but in my view, not really for the Brits. I don’t mean I was expecting a cooked fry up, but cold cured meat and bread isn’t my bag, and although there was yoghurt and dried fruit, it wasn’t great. I didn’t starve though and there was nice toasted bread and cheese, which you had to request.

The hotel was ideally located and relatively easy to find. We were travelling for my wife’s birthday, and the staff marked this at breakfast with a cake and candle which was a nice touch. We had a junior suite with rooftop views across the city - spectacular! The history of the property is interesting with its Irish connections, but the old city wall passes right through the building and can be seen in reception and also ascending in the lift to the first floor via glass panels! Nice touch. Car parking is good.

The bedroom had very little natural light. Bathroom needed some refurbishment AC didn't seem to have very good temperature control, too cool for room temp setting.

The place could do with a lick of paint here and there. Despite our room being very well sized, it had some very tight spots between the bed and tv unit etc. Also, clear directions on how to access the car park would be very much appreciated, we found it almost by accident after getting lost.

A very well located hotel in a wonderful old palace featuring some stunning original features. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, in particular with a recommendation for a great local tapas bar. Our room was a very good size and parking is available on site. Very good value for money too.
