Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandI didint like that the you had to pay 2.50 euro a day for a safe that's in your room and looks like its from 1940s. You need to request the key for the safe from reception. I had to pay 20 euro deposit to use the iron but firstly one reception on day 1 said its 10 euro but the next day it was 20. The shower was broken. They said they fixed it but the next day same problem happened. The room didint look like the pictures when I reserved the room and also the doors and doorframe to the bathroom and to the hotel room looks like it went through flood damage. I was extremely disappointed with the room. I paid a lot of money for 4 star hotel and the room was more of a 2 star. I wouldn't stay here again. In my room it said free toiletries and what you get is one dispenser of what I assumed was shower gel and shampoo all in one. Dispenser was on the wall but only one. Also there's a phone in the room but it's not even connected so you cannot call the reception so it's more as an accessory for the room. There was no point to have that phone in the room. This was outrages to be honest in a 4 star hotel.
The hotel itself was nice from the outside, the pool area was nice and reception are was lovely. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. Watermark is 15 mins walk from the hotel, beach is 15 mins walk the opposite way of the hotel and the shop street is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. So location was ok if you want to be around everything within walking distance.

United KingdomThe coffee bar was genuinely great — caffeine and calm in one convenient location. Pepe’s Bar had a decent selection and a relaxed vibe, and the real cherry on the holiday cake? Being allowed to use a shower after check-out before our evening flight. Glorious. The beach bar had a brilliant location — sea breeze, sunshine, and a break from the main building. Although the food was nearly identical to the main restaurant (sadly), at least the view made it easier to ignore. In summary: go for the beach bar, the coffee, and Pepe. Avoid eye contact during the poolside Hunger Games and maybe bring your own snacks. You’ll survive — but whether you’ll thrive is another matter entirely.
If you’re looking for a hotel experience that combines the chaos of a zombie apocalypse with the ambience of a motorway service station, then look no further. Let’s start with the pool. Imagine a dystopian movie scene where survivors claw for resources — only instead of canned goods, it’s sun loungers and umbrellas. By 9:58am, the scraping, dragging and general warfare over poolside spots was in full swing. Bring elbow pads. The restaurant experience was… intense. Picture a school canteen during a fire drill — people everywhere, staff darting about like they’ve just heard the last call at a wedding buffet. Plates were whisked away mid-bite, and the clattering of cutlery clean-up drowned out any hope of conversation. As for the food… let’s just say it gave strong “hospital tray with ambition” energy. In short: stinking. Room cleanliness was hit-and-miss. Beds were made, but replacing a used toilet roll apparently required Herculean effort. We began rationing sheets of tissue like Victorian chimney sweeps.

The breakfast and dinner buffet were exceptional. I would stay in this hotel again just for the breakfast and dinner.

SpainIts a regular all included hotel, the pool is too small for the lot of people who was trying to use it. There are only Two elevators *a very small ones* available for the main towers, you have to spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators. The quality of the food is very poor. On the other hand, the staff is very kind and helping, they love to give solutions. The car parking pricing per day its vulgar..

United KingdomRoom very dated, the gym is not a gym i ended up training at basic fit 150 yards away from the hotel - either get a real gym or scrap it and do a deal with basic fit for day passes at a reduced rate for people wanting to train.
Majority of staff fantastic made foe the hospitality industry. The casual approach to meals, snack bar and drinks fantastic.

United KingdomMeal times the restaurant was too busy struggled to get a table if you went in at peak times you just has to grab what you could not a pleasant experience. Dishes contantly being cleared away so all dirty plates and wasted food being taken away around you while eating was (like a canteen). Food was ok nothing special. Some very rude Guests. Not enough lifts and could only take a few people at a time. I went out of season so must be really bad in peak season.
Room was ok bathroom was a bit dated but all clean Speciality restaurant was good - Good choice of meats BBQ Bar at the front of hotel always got a table and drinks were good

United KingdomHotel very dated, like hotels were in Spain 30yrs ago. Restaurant wasn't sufficient for the numbers of guests, more like a canteen, very busy with guests squeezing between tables, no clear walking areas. Food quite basic but always found something to eat tho not the best quality. Public areas didn't seem to be cleaned regularly especially staircases Bathrooms need updating, bring your own toiletries because those provided for your bath and shower are the same as what's provided for handwashing in the public toilets.
Bed was comfy

IrelandRoom was dated. If you want tea/ coffee facilities it would cost you extra. Sometimes there wasn’t enough waiting staff to clear tables so people would stand around a dirty table waiting for it to be cleared I noticed this twice
Property itself was clean some rooms could be updated. Not a place to go for a quiet break.you could make as much noise as you like and no one would say a word.
