That there was no wee shop in the near vicinity. Not their fault 😁.

Everything was superb. The service was friendly and available. The room had everything you need in it and was fresh and clean. And the food, I could eat for days there. Dog and motorbike friendly too. And the view and area... spectacular.

This place really exceeded my expectations from the quality of food, staff, the cosy room with a bath and so on. I thought I might enjoy some of the family type hostels I stayed in, but this was even better in terms of atmosphere and general prices of food/drinks. Keep up the good work!

The food was a bit variable. We had fish, which was a bit dry, probably because we were far from the sea, whereas this is a hunting area and meat would have been a better choice.

We were exhausted, having cycled from Potes in the strong sun, so reaching this hotel was a real relief. We needed beers and these appeared very quickly! Then we found that the room was just what we needed to recover from after a tough day.

Great location for riding to, and photographing. Hotel offered a great evening meal that was good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming with good, home-cooked food and comfortable, clean rooms. Nothing too fancy but very warm and we were very well cared for. We had a good, hearty lunch with an excellent bottle of wine and secure storage for our bicycles. Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem high in the mountains I came across this hotel by mistake but am so glad I did, this would be our last night in Spain we couldn't have got anymore traditional if we tried, I requested secure parking for our motorbike as that was the most important thing for us, when we was greeted by the host that was the first thing that was sorted What a traditional Spanish experience we had, the hosts went above and beyond to help us the ride up to the hotel and out was absolutely breathtaking

Having to leave!

The location maybe remote but arriving at the hotel after a hard day on the bike, and with low expectations, we were blown away by such a warm welcome. The hotel is beautiful and has a unique caracter, and the surronding mountain scenery is fabulous. The staff were attentive to the needs of 2 tired cyclists, meals were freshly prepared and satisfying and we had a very relaxing night. We both agreed that it was the best accommodation, and the best value in a month-long cycle tour. Strong wifi too!

Noisy late in the evening. I was on the first floor, and could hear the loudness from the restaurant below, or people in the corridor late at night. Not great for people that wake up early. Restaurant only opens very late, not adapted to usual European schedules. No kettle, impossible to make a tea or prepare myself sandwiches. Staff declined when I asked if I could use the shared facilities they have in the breakfast room.

A little too quiet (staff often absent). The bed (woefully inadequate pillows). The location is rather 'dead' (a bit of a one-horse town).

Relaxed informal atmosphere. Help yourself buffet breakfast. Reasonable prices. Good food. Pet friendly.

Not much variety in breakfast. No signal at all at the location of the hotel, but the hotel wifi worked ok.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Views are great. Calm and quiet.
