Had issues with A/C. Did not manage to turn it on. Asked reception and they said we need to close windows and blinds to turn it on. Since it was not hot it was not a big issue. We slept with a bit of a window open.

The very negative experience is the BLONDE HAIR LADY at the reception. Rude, unfriendly and arrogant. In the evening there is another lady with red hair who is the opposite. Very friendly and helpful.

It was a little noisy at night but the windows are pretty soundproof so it didn’t keep us awake.

The location was fabulous - right in the heart of the old town which meant everything we wanted was literally on our doorstep.

The location is perfect right next to the Plaza Major but if you have large suitcases you need to carry them up some steps. The rooms were lovely and spacious, a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom with good quality amenities. The coffee machine was good but there was no kettle. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming.

It's not a hotel but a guesthouse, so I was nervous because I had to press the intercom when entering the building.

The room faced Plaza Maior and the view was amazing. The minibar was free. The front desk gave me a list of recommended restaurants. I went to one of them and it was good.

We didn't dislike anything, but be aware that the entrance to the hotel in via a very nondescript door between two shops in the cloister of the square. We had to ring reception to locate it.

This hotel has beautifully renovated modern rooms built into the old buildings surrounding Plaza Mayor. The location couldn't be better, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were large and very clean with a good sized ensuite. French doors open on to a small balcony overlooking the vibrant square, but when closed the room was surprsingly quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi good. There is a commercial carpark just a 4 minute flat walk away. The hotel was very secure.

The shower leaked on the floor. The noise level from the plaza on Saturday night was very disturbing but improved on the other nights so I would advise that guests avoid being there on Saturday.

Being at the Plaza Mayor was a dream come true since I was a student in Salamanca over 50 years ago. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The location was convenient to restaurants and all the sites. Blanca at reception made us feel welcome and accommodated all our needs.

Everything! Loaction at the door step of Plaza Major, spacious rooms and really nicely decorated rooms with a lot of character. Very reasonably priced considering all the above!!!!
