I arrived to the hotel sick due to a food poisoning. The owner (?) an elderly gentleman went above and beyond with taking care of me. The rest of the staff was also very sympathetic.

High humidity in the room (in general in the region) which makes it hard to dry stuff like towels in the room. Floor could be a bit cleaner.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Parking spot for free. Nice view to Ribadesella. Good stay for some nights and near to Picos the Europa.

Shower needs a proper rail for shower curtain, near impossible to have a shower in comfort without curtain stuck to your body as it is. Couldn't get the WiFi code despite knocking on the front door twice.

Spotless clean, loved the little balcony and doors with shutters, lovely parquet floor. Lovely view. Safe parking for my motorcycle at the back of the hotel.

I had an issue when I arrive because the guests in the next door had a big dog locked in the room, barking and jumping there. I had to complain twice to the owner, and then he finally managed to move them to another area of the house. He is a good man but I can't understand why he allowed dogs inside the rooms that would for sure generate a lot of complaints from other guests. Do not accept this if you go here. I guess this is a good place for spanish people (most of the guests are Spanish) people who is more tolerant with the local culture and tolerates some unhealthy behaviors like the owner smoking inside the house, even in the meal areas. For me was good because I only stayed there one night.

This is a very good option for budget travellers. The rooms and the forniture look old but the bed was comfortable. There are many rooms, the views are great for Ribadesella and they have a free parking area for the guests.

The breakfast was a bit basic, for 3.50 euros, got given a slice of white bread, a pat of butter and jam. (no choice of bread) and coffee. No other meals were on offer, other than breakfast. Had to provide our own cups for the bathroom and evening glass of wine etc. When having a shower the pressure dropped, if anyone else was showering at the same time.

The location of the hotel is outside Ribadesella, so a bit of a walk if not wanting to drive. The views of Ribadesella and the mountains were great. A feeling of having the country side all around. The room had a balcony so could sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and take in the sights and sounds. The shower was a good size and room to move around.

We actually paid extra for a better view from the room but got a room with a view on the courtyard :). Not sure what we would have gotten without the extra LOL. The shower was annoying as you had to hold the hose in your hand because it couldn't stay on the wall. It was good enough, but just lacked a little extra effort to make it really good.

We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked very Spanish: tostada con tomate :). The coffee was very good and they were accommodating to give us plates so we could eat our own papaya.

Not much would like coffee and tea facilities don’t need to supply the coffee or tea just a jug and a couple of cups would be good especially for weary travellers like us

The only drawback was the tiny shower. But it didn’t bother me, as the copious water was nice and hot.

Ribadesella is quite an expensive holiday town, but I was pleased to find this place in the hills, 3km from the town which provided me with everything I want at a very reasonable price. I booked a single room, which though small suited my requirements exactly, with the added bonus of a splendid view looking back to the town and coast. The building is attractive, and has a charming little terrace at the back. The bar downstairs is open at least until 9pm. The host was very good humoured and friendly. My bike was secure in the garage.
