Situated just outside Burunchal accessed directly off the main road. Entrance an exit are quite steep but is paved. There is plenty of parking. The position of the hotel is stunning with astounding views from the restaurant and terrace overlooking the olive groves, which stretch for as far as the eyes can see. Very pleasant pool area and plenty of outside shaded seating areas. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good breakfast -meat, cheese,fruit yoghurt- as was the evening menu.

The breakfast was good but not amazing. I think I have been spoilt by the fresh orange juice at other hotels and cafes. However, it’s such a minor part of the stay and I wouldn’t let it put anyone off.

Such a quaint, rustic hotel with incredible views. We stayed three nights as we were travelling to other parts of Spain but I could have stayed much longer. You need a car to get to the hotel and visit the surrounding areas but it’s worth it as the wild swimming spots and hikes nearby are incredible. With other parts of Spain becoming overcrowded with tourists, this area offered a much less hectic and more authentic experience. The staff are super friendly and only speak Spanish which was fine for us but if you don’t speak Spanish make sure you learn some phrases before you go as it will add to your experience there.

The bathroom was a little dated, but we were very happy with what we got for the cost.

The views are superb, could’ve sat looking at them all day. Lunch & dinner were very good & reasonably priced. Bed comfortable.

Rooms need more soundproofing,very thin walls.owners have a dog which howls every morning.(thankfully not in the night),not just this hotel but pet friendly places need to be fully pet friendly and offer indoor areas where we can have breakfast/dinner when the weather turns.

best location to visit the sierra de cazorla. we at a really great time at the hotel. remarkable is the professional heart kindness of the whole staff at the hotel. we felt all the time very welcomed and no question or wish was to much to answer or fullfill. we received a very nice and good atmopshere during our stay. also we had easy acess to the best hiking area and sightseeing attractions. the mountains and hikes in the sierra are a spectacle. breakfast in the morning is top, coffee excellent, perfect for a nice start in the morning. we can only say thank you very much to the extraordinary staff at the hotel, we will for certain come back next time eberhard and monika

The only negative is that we didn’t stay long enough! Everything about this place was perfection, from the hotel, views, room, staff, even the food we ate for dinner and breakfast was perfect. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and relax, this is it. Note: you’ll need a car to travel anywhere from the hotel but the stay is worth it.

The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, possibly due to issues with the plumbing. The breakfast options were limited, with few choices for hams and cheeses, and a lack of fresh vegetables, fruits, or hot dishes.

The hotel's location offered stunning views, set slightly apart from the town, providing a serene and picturesque setting. Our room had a unique charm and was comfortable. The entire property was well-maintained, exuding beauty and tranquility, making it a great escape from the busy city life.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as a gateway to the National park; the view from the dining room was exceptional- could have sat there all day watching the changing scene. The food was also very good; we ate there each night of our stay and enjoyed the variety and quality on the menu.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Very relaxed atmosphere. VERY Spanish. It seemed entirely without pretence - just an honest, value for money experience. We loved the huge vista from the (very underused) chairs at the end of the (equally underused) path. Food was decent, staff were friendly - patient with our lack of Spanish, but almost insistent we try - really rewarding. Would definitely go again.

The only complaint we would have is that the shower cubicle was tiny! A large person would never fit in!

Great location with breathtaking views. All the staff were very friendly. It was nice to use the pool after a long ride on our motorbike on the superb roads in the area. We booked a room with pool views, which was nice. We ate in the restaurant and the food was well cooked and the portions were a good size, the views from the terrace in the evening, and watching the sun set over the mountains was something else! We enjoyed a good continental breakfast before continuing our journey.

The hotel is very nice and cosy. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We stay with the dog and they provided a dog bed for him (there is a fee when you get your pet). Highly recommended.
