Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Beautiful finca with an amazing garden, perfect for relaxation, very peaceful. There's a busy road nearby, but it was not bothering at all. The city center of Puerto de la Cruz is about 10 minutes by car. The owner lady is very nice, we had amazing home-made breakfasts every morning. I can only recommend it!

IrelandWhen the trees in the front garden mature, it should help masking the motorway a lot. We would have preferred a double bed to the two singles but they were very comfy.
This is a great find. Very friendly hosts, all the sisters were always happy to help. The pool is perfect, secluded but in the sun all day. Good breakfast with different egg dish each day. The gardens were lovely but be aware that it’s on a slight incline if you have walking issues. There is a motorway to the seaside of the property, but the room to the rear meant that it was lovely and quiet, with great mountain view’s while still being very accessible to all parts of north coast. Villages and shopping nearby. Thanks so much

NetherlandsIt takes a long time for the water in the bathroom to warm up. But once it's warm it's a wonderful shower. It would be nice if they would leave the breakfast area open in the evening for leisure activities/reading a book/ meet up with other guests.
Good breakfast, very friendly staff, spacious room and a good and large bed. Nice pool that is even a little heated. Good price quality ratio.

Czech RepublicWe stayed in a wing with two floors, with a room in the first floor. It is an old building with wooden floors, so it happened we had quite a noisy family above us and we heard each word they said, felt every chair move they made... There are just two rooms like that, so make sure you will stay somewhere else as otherwise the place is worth a stay. Also, they send you self check in form and every day you get alert to fill it in, even you already did it. I dont really like this approach as it is annoying and time taking, you do not want to worry about that on your holidays and lets face it, this is a job of the accommodation - especially if the stuff is there until late, as in this case.
The place is well located just next to the main circuit of the island with a big parking lot, in a place which is quite warm even in winter - for being located inland. The rooms are nice, big, with a nice inner patio and pool.

RomaniaThe water presure is week. The temperature in the apartment is ok in the winter, but you have tot turn on a heater. That takes a while to feel a diference. The distance from the parking place to the rooms is a long walk through the property (matters when it rains)
The property is nice with beautiful plants all around, and a peacefull pool. Delux apartment is big, with a comfy big bed and pretty furniture with vintage look. Polite staff, allways trying to make you feel welcome and help you with anything.

NetherlandsThe bed linens need some refreshing, they looked a bit worn. The shower pressure is not the best.
The location was perfect for us. Very close to Puerto de ka Cruz which is wonderful little place with lots of unassuming but surprisingly good restaurant options. We did have a car and it made life easy, without a car it would be hard to have a short stay vacation at this location. The drive to Puerto de la Cruz is a very short one, just 5 mins. Please be aware parking is not the easiest thing in the city. Parking at Finca Sulula is plentiful and very safe. The property itself is right off the highway but has the feel of a farm house converted very tastefully into a hotel/wedding location. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The pool is nicely sized. Each day we had a sumptuous breakfast, cold cuts, fresh bread, eggs , coffee and avocados (from the hotel's own garden). The breakfast room has a wonderful view and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast experience. The room it self was standard size, simple and clean. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space. The best part ofcourse are the hosts and their incredible hospitality. We had a welcome bottle if sparkling wine ready when we checked in. The hosts gave us some avocados and passion fruit from their garden when we checked out The avocados are simply amazing. We will be back when we visit Tenerife again.

United KingdomThe staff were incredibly nice to us from the moment we arrived and were more than happy for us to have a late check in. The rooms were large and comfortable and had left us a complimentary bottle of bubbles on ice and flowers (from there beautiful gardens) in our room. They kindly arranged a vegan breakfast especially for myself and came to let us know when it was ready. I’d highly recommend staying here if in Puerto de la Cruz, short drive from the beach and main town and just off the main road so easy to find with ample private parking.

GermanyLocation is great and easy to reach and close to cool hiking spots and nice restaurants. The pool is the cherry on the cake. The owner and the stuff were lovely and always kind and available. The room was clean and pretty and the interior style perfectly matching the location. Breakfast was good and the cappuccino a perfect one!

Netherlandsnothing, honestly nothing! Everything was amazing!
A wonderful hotel and absolutely heartwarming staff! Due to my pregnancy and gluten + lactose intolerance we knew breakfast could be tricky. But Susana and her wonderful staff made sure every day we had a huge and delicious breakfast without any risk of an intolerance reaction. With rotating delicousness being set on the table day after day. We truly felt cared for during our stay. The room was cleaned extensively every day (mopping the floor too!), a wonderful room, beautiful garden, relaxing pool setup. We would 120% recommend staying with Sulula. You will get pampered, feel welcomed and genuinly lovely staff.

United KingdomThe rooms are not well soundproof (you can basically hear everything in other room(s)), so if the neighbours are noisy (which was the case for us), it can be very incommoding and make it hard to sleep well. The breakfast was fairly expensive for what it was.
The hotel facilities are nice (terrace with swimming pool, patio, garden) and the hotel architecture is charming. The location of the hotel is convenient.

Germanywifi was out of order 95% of the stay (see above for details) miserably low water pressure from shower head terrible shower design hot water took over 5 minutes to work and it was the coldest time in Tenerife
Below-standard quality of food was being served at breakfast buffet i.e. food from Lidl or Aldi At least some local Jamon, cheese and fresh pastries ought to be offered. Very disappointing. View from breakfast room was good. Manager was apologetic about broke down of wifi from 2nd~4th day of stay but there was no solution provided so we had to search high and low in town for paid wifi for work/video conference meetings. All the chefs looked grumpy and unfriendly which was very unusual for Spain that is known for its warm and friendly people
