Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaHad couple of nights with party/concert next door. Hotel could’ve handled and communicated this before but handled the situation appropriately afterwards and cannot complain.
Amazing hotel with excellent staff, nice location. Our first time at Tenerife and we loved our experience at Hideaway Corales Beach. I prefered rooftop pool, my wife liked the one near restaurant. Had tasting menu at Starfish and really had great time. Breakfast and dinners at Nao restaurant were very tasty, staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Overall the hotel is what it’s trying to be - amazing place to enjoy all the perks of what it’s offering for adults. We will definitely come back in the future.

IrelandOccasionally sound from construction, also traffic from nearby road. Can occasionally hear footsteps etc. from adjacent rooms… but overall these were minimal distractions from an otherwise perfect resort.
Calm, relaxing, comfortable. Amazing staff, wonderful facilities, exceptional food.

United KingdomThere was a slight confusion on the bill whilst checking out but the receptionist was very apologetic and he was very kind. This did not affect the overall, exceptional service from everyone and everything.
Exceptional welcome and service throughout our stay. The cocktails made on the rooftop were superb . Our first night meal was at Il Bocconcino & Fabien was a welcoming host and knowledgeable Sommelier. We enjoyed the wonderful service by the waitresses and the food was fantastic- big shout out to chef Niki - we had the tasting menu and loved it ( our favourite was the ravioli ). We also dined at The Starfish Grill for lunch one day and the service and food was beautiful. Breakfast everyday was a treat. The staff were always so friendly and remembered our tea and coffee orders from day one. The room cleans everyday were great too and the hotel went the extra mile to gift my partner cake and champagne for his Birthday. The beds were super comfortable for us and we felt very rested every night. Thank you to all of the staff for making it such a memorable holiday.

United KingdomThere was no inside bar/lounge area. All the bars are outside, which is fine when it’s warm and sunny, but unfortunately during our stay the weather was very windy and especially in the evenings and therefore after dinner there was no-where to sit other than go back to our room
It’s location, it was very clean everywhere, the room was very big and the clean, the staff were all very friendly, in particular the reception staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet was very good and there outside seating area at breakfast was nice

United KingdomHaving stayed in Tenerife numerous times, we decided the give The Royal Hideaway Corales Hotel a try. From the check in , the staff were so friendly and advised our room was not ready so we decided to have lunch in The Starfish restaurant, A trip in the golf buggy took us there. The turbot and burger was exceptional , and the surroundings so sophisticated and relaxed. A great start to our holiday, Our room was just perfect, beautiful views, so clean, mini bar fully stocked and the cleaning staff so fussy with every detail. The pool area so relaxed and stylish, plenty of beds available. So good that we are returning again to the Corales Villas at the end of March 2025. Well done to all staff.

United KingdomThe bar at the top swimming pool was a bit flat - the staff were great but atmosphere was lacking. It was windy and cold most evenings.
The hotel is spotless and well designed with excellent well trained staff. All rooms have a stunning view of the sea and sunset with sunloungers. The breakast was exceptional - justly earning all the accolades. The hotel is well placed to enjoy the whole of Costa Adeje and, in particular La Caleta, the small fishing village which is more authentic than the rest of this coastline. There are numerous restaurants of a good standard and cafes to enjoy and locals still live in the vicinity. We ate in the hotel at the Starfish restaurant which was excellent. We found the food on offer in the Trattoria unexciting.

IrelandFew little minor cons: 1. If you’re looking for a beach, the one next to the hotel isn’t great, I’d probably try somewhere closer to playa el duque like el mirador or something like ritz Carlton if you want a private beach. 2. The thermal suite needs to be booked and has a cost (we had 1 free visit) 3. Drinks at the pool are a bit pricey for what you get.. I know it’s an exclusive 5-star resort but some cocktails were €20+ which was a bit much I thought. All of these are so minor though, this place is paradise!!
Exceptional resort, probably the nicest I’ve stayed in Europe and close enough to some of the best I’ve experienced in Asia too. Biggest pro is the gastronomy, from the room service to the rooftop cocktails to El Rincón, San Ho, il Boccacino and the royal breakfast - the food across most of the resort is incredible! The pool side food at the main pool leaves something to be desired but that’s a minor complaint. Staff were incredible, particularly the cleaning team who clean your room as if it’s your home, organising your things and paying such incredible attention to detail. The resort has so much to it that you could potentially not leave for a week and be perfectly content, but that said - we did venture out to nearby la Caleta several nights eating in its lovely little restaurants and cafes which is a big plus from a location perspective.
