Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThey host big groups so be aware of the night activities (karaokes etc), which might be a bit loud and the breakfast hours which might be affected by the big groups
Perfect hotel to bring our dog. Location is awesome, they have done a great job to make it family and pet friendly and they provided a crib for free for our 1 month old baby.

SpainFurniture and kitchen are pretty old, however still good. A lot of neighbors with dogs, thus be ready that many of them will say you “good luck” when departing for early morning hike.
Great location, views and surroundings. Some trails are started really nearby with no need to drive. Park is wonderful - mountains, lakes and sun! Couple of bars and restaurants nearby. Welcome treats for the dog is a very nice surprise. Children playground is just cross the street.

Spain1. 20 euros/1 night, then 15 euros/next EACH nights if your dog comes with you. This info is HIDDEN by hotel, it's not available in reception desk, not even in the paper of rules for dogs in hotel. Receptionst said if I want she can print it for me. Wtf??? This info not showed in hotel description as well, they sent it only to my personal email after made unrefundable reservation!!! We got it already on the way to Pirineos and we were obligated to pay 50 euros more for 3 nights with dog. 2. Receptionist woman was rude, not empathic, rejected to call to booking by herself( since she blamed it for this situation and asked us call it by ourself again after we already did it), rejected call manager or superior, rejected show us where this extra fee is indicated in information desk of hotel. When we were out of hotel in parking in our car talking with customer service of booking, she went out with some man and showed to us with finger from the corner. What the f...???? 3. Hotel is old, not really clean, needs reforms, some things are broken(in out case the card reader for electricity was not fixed to the wall and almost fall when you insert the card. Pool is dirty, water should be warm but it was almost cold for the cold temperature it was. Mountain views were actually view to parking. The room card key was not really a key, it was with a real metalic key and card was sticked to big piece of wood, which makes uncomfortable to bring such room key with you, it's huge. Pillows are super uncomfortable. 4. There is jacuzzi and spa, in theory. But they hide it with the curtain and says it's out of work. Just lol. --- If you can, stay away. Booking by phone said it's responsibility of hotel's manager to put this dog's fee info to description and receptionist said they don't have access to do it and hotel sent this info to agency aka booking and it's fault of booking that they didn't indicate it in description.
We liked music in reception. That's all

United KingdomIt had been cleaned a long time ago and there was dead bugs (which is normal in the countryside), but the host should check the room right before the guests check in order to avoid this. The kitchen was very basic and all the curtains, sofa etc looked rather cheap and not very well decorated.
Easy check in, all very smooth

United KingdomWe opted for a mountain retreat to enjoy a tranquil summer vacation, seeking a quiet atmosphere that differs from the bustling beach scene. Here's the curveball: Unbeknownst to us, the hotel had transformed into a bustling summer camp, accommodating approximately 60 children aged 6 to 16. The noise reached a level that exceeded any expectations. Our room, situated on the 1st floor and overlooking the terrace, was immersed in constant activity. Mornings commenced with classes, afternoons were brimming with social engagements, and evenings were marked by kids congregating in the terrace area. Regrettably, any aspirations of unwinding with a drink on the terrace post-hike or making the most of poolside lounging were rendered obsolete. The same applied relaxing in the lounge, which was consistently occupied and resonating with noise. Nightfall was characterized by kids engaging in lively conversations across windows, accompanied by the persistent noise of footsteps and slamming doors, creating an unrelenting disturbance and lasted until 11 pm, which, needless to say, posed challenges for those who intended to retire early in preparation for early-morning hikes. The breakfast routine posed its own set of challenges. Despite our endeavor to secure breakfast at 8:30 am sharp, the scene rapidly transformed by 8:40 am as a stream of children emerged. Subsequently, breakfast offerings underwent a shift to cater to the preferences of the younger guests. If a fried egg, slice of bread, or croissant was on your agenda, punctuality at 8:30 am was imperative, lest you be left empty-handed due to the absence of replenishment. I've had my share of summer camps, and trust me, I was no different from those kids. The problem here isn't their behavior. It's about the hotel dropping the ball on honesty!
The hotel boasts a fantastic location that's incredibly welcoming to dogs. Whether you need to take them out for a quick stroll or embark on a lengthier walk or hike. The staff, particularly those at the front desk, were nice and helpful. They not only addressed my questions but also efficiently resolved issues – including arranging a 50% refund. The refund process was swift and seamless, devoid of any disputes or hesitations. Further details are provided below. The reception area, terrace, and pool all exude a pleasing ambiance.

New ZealandWe arrived in the early evening to find that the hotel had not yet opened for the season, despite having confirmed our booking . The doors were locked with no lights on and no staff were present. Repeated phone calls to the hotel remained unanswered. This was most disappointing and resulted in additional costs for us.

United StatesStaff was a bit grumpy. It's in a resort development, rather than the village itself, which was a bit disappointing. It's hard to find the entrance from the main road - there are no indications, so you have to bump around till you stumble on it.
Breakfast was copious and varied, but they have this weird reservation system where you have to tell them what time slot you want the night before (8, 830, 9). The implication being if you showed up another time you wouldn't eat. This was unnecessary.
